This book is sincerely dedicated to my grandmother, who passed away while I was still making this book. She has helped me obtain a lot of the information I needed for this book, though she doesn't really know that. I would've loved to see her reaction when this book came out, but she sadly passed before I could even publish the first chapter. I'm not sure if she would be proud of me if she knew about this, but she's the one who indirectly inspired me to write such a story. I would really like to thank her for this before we begin.
I would also like to thank my family members who have helped me obtain technological and historical information regarding this book. Mostly, my mom since she indirectly gave me the correct information I needed for this book, like the technological knowledge that I needed from the late 90s and I really hope she likes it.Hey guys! So this story is a little different from the rest of my books since it contains a lot of colloquial Malaysian dialect, or Manglish as we say, and it might be a tad bit difficult to understand but I think it's fine. Feel free to ask me in the comments if you don't understand something.
I've also recreated the characters in the Sims 3 so that it would be easier to visualise what the characters look like.Main Characters
Shri Mohan
Misao Hara
Secondary characters
Shruti Devi
Shridhar Krishnan
Suganthi
Siddharth
Kumiko Endo
Another thing to note is that the Malaysian characters would only speak in their dialect amongst themselves. If they were to speak to the other characters, they would speak in perfect English. This is true because I noticed this in myself too lol.
Another thing to notice is that, their dialogues among themselves might be written in perfect sentences too. This is to indicate that they might be speaking in a language other than English, unless spoken between two characters of different nationalities. You might also see that the reply to this perfect sentences may be written in colloquial form. This happens a lot too since sometimes, we reply in English to someone speaking in a different language like Malay or Tamil.
