The Room On The Third Floor

Suspicion

Josephine and Margaret had their lunch together in a place a bit farther from the crowd of girls
Josephine - So um...... Margaret
Margaret (awkwardly) - Yes
Josephine - I am sorry about what happened earlier
Margaret (smiles) - Sure!
Josephine - Do you know anything  more about that room?
Margaret - Well.... I've heard that after the principal passed away another principal came to the school and shifted her office to the current office and made the old office a storeroom but she didn't take anything from the old room and well left it the way it was and 1 year later some students found out about that room and decided to enter it but....
Josephine - But what?
Margaret (sighs) - After they did go into the room one by one disappeared and were not to be found again, only one was found.....dead, stabbed in stomach
Josephine (turns and looks at the floor) - That's..... Mysterious
Margaret - Yeah I know
Josephine (looks at Margaret again) - But how do you know so much?
Margaret (turns pale) - No someone told me that
Josephine - Who?
Margaret - Uh.... Well..... Um.....
Just then Susan and Riley turned up
Riley - Hey ya girls!
Susan - Margaret since both of you are done with your lunch do you mind if we borrow Josephine for a minute?
Margaret (smiles) - Sure! Bye Josephine I will call you!
Josephine (slowly gets up her face still full of suspicion) - Yeah alright.
Margaret kept on looking at the birds nearby deep in her thoughts
Margaret -  *I can't tell her right now but she seems way too sure I'm hiding this from her if she keeps on doubting me....*
Meanwhile the three girls went to the place where Anne and Sally were chatting
Sally - Come Josephine sit and Riley clean up right now.
Riley (starts cleaning up) - Sally you're so heartless couldn't you do that much for your friend?
Anne - Shut up and continue Riley you know we have to ask Josephine some questions
Riley - Anne do behave yourself
Anne gave her wink
Josephine (sits) - What questions?
Susan - You know you've been terribly out of this world today and we want to know if you're alright
Sally - Exactly
Josephine - I already told y'all I am fine
Anne - Now dear, we know you are lying so spill
Josephine - Alright it's just I feel someone was watching us in the morning and something just really creeps me out when I enter that room
Sally (puts her arm around Josephine's shoulder) - You sure?
Josephine - Yes and for some reason Margaret seems to know way too much about the room
Riley (after her cleaning up) - Ok people I'm done! What are we talking about again?
Anne - Seriously Riley can't you see Josephine is feeling insecure?
Riley - Oh yes, by the way Josephine do you know why Margaret knows so much about that queer room?
Josephine - Exactly she does know way too much she told me one more thing when we were having lunch
Susan -  What did she say?
Josephine told them everything she said and the way she turned pale when she was asked how she knew all those things about the room
Anne - Well that's quite strange
Susan - Yes, Josephine tell me do you think Margaret could be involved in something to do with that room
Josephine - I don't know I am sure she would never do anything wrong but still she does seem quite suspicious
Right then the bell rang so they had to stop the conversation and go back to their classes
Sally - Well that's the bell see you later girls
Anne - Bye
