Third Person POV
Rhaenyra was reading a book about the mermaids in the Black Lake when she heard footsteps approach her.
By that point, her and Ivan's relationship had gotten around. And the Weasley Twins had won a lot of money through their betting pool, since they had bet on Ivan and Rhaenyra getting together in their fourth year.
The dark violet eyed girl looked up form her book to see Harry approach her magically conjured bench.
"Heiress Black." the Boy Who Lived greeted her.
"Heir Potter." the Girl Who Died returned the greeting.
"Is there a reason you've decided to confront me?" Rhaenyra asked.
"Actually I wanted to talk to you." Harry said.
"Really? What? Listen I don't know where my father is and if he's dead then let's go celebrate." Rhaenrya said.
Harry raised an eyebrow. Amelia Bones, whom he had come to adore as an aunt, had informed him of Sirius cheating on his wife Saerena Targaryen, Rhaenyra's mother.
So yeah, that had destroyed his image of his godfather a bit. But Rhaenyra wanting her father dead implied there was so much more to Rhaenyra and Sirius's relationship.
"I wanted to say I'm sorry, for how I was a bit of an idiot and rude to you during year one and all the other times. I've expanded my view and I just wanted to say I'm sorry. We're the heir and heiress of two ancient houses, we better stick together. And godsiblings." Harry said.
The Queen of Dragons thought it over. "You want to be in the Shadows."
"Yes. Your guys's friendship is much healthier than Ron and Hermione and just blindingly listening to Dumbledore." Harry said.
"Welcome to the Shadows, Harry Potter." Rhaenyra smiled, holding her hand out.
Her godbrother shook it back, and once again, a member of the House of Black befriended a member of House Potter.
That is today's chapter.
Harry is finally seeing what's really happening, and leaving Ron and Hermione for the Shadows.
