Charge

The bullets stop flying, so I look up to see the enemy charging with swords out, creating dust clouds in their wake. Two bangs sound off down our line and hit their marks, dropping the two in the lead. They do not pause their all out run as they head for us like the hounds of hell are behind them. Maybe they are those very hounds. The screams of attack echo as we jump up and head for them as one body, pulling our own swords out. The thought, 'this is insane,' crosses my mind as I race towards death.
