Your plane finally lands in Seoul after a short but mentally draining journey. It's late in the night when you left, so it must be just before dawn now.
You text your brother saying you have arrived before standing to exit the plane and look for your luggage.
"You finally made it." You hear your brother's voice and turn around, dropping your luggage to hug him tightly. When his arms come around you, you feel a sense of being home again and after the long few months you've had, it feels good enough to almost make you cry. Almost.
"I'm sorry for all of this-" you start but as expected he shushes you.
"None of that. You are my only sister. Once I heard about what was happening back home.. I couldn't leave you there any longer. You were right to tell me."
You pull away and sniffle, not quite meeting his eyes. He doesn't let you hide away though, pulling your chin so you look at him.
"now you see why I had to get away. I couldn't stand being there another second. You're here now, y/n. Away from them, away from him. You don't ever have to see them again."
You nod your head, knowing he is right even if you won't admit it.
Your parents became insufferable when you told them you wanted to pursue your dream of being a tattoo artist. It wasn't "lady like enough" for them.
So they proceeded to arrange a marriage for you with a man twice your age but the man was well off financially. It wasn't a life you wanted, but a life they wanted.
You told your brother what your parents had been doing and he booked you the next flight straight to him.
"Thank you for all of this, Yoonie." You link your fingers with his and pull your first suitcase behind you as he walks you to his car. "I'm sorry that you'll be tired tomorrow at work."
"I'm not going in. Took an emergency day off. Don't look at me like that, this is important." Yoongi gently scolds you, even if he never stays mad at you. He never could.
Yoongi gets his trunk open while you lug your suitcase inside of it then help Yoongi with your other one before closing the hatch for him.
"you must be beat. Let's go home." He says, helping you in the car before driving you silently to his apartment.
Once inside, Yoongi shows you the way to your new room, setting your suitcases near the bed.
"It isn't much but the rent is affordable." He rubs the back of his neck, a habit he still hasn't broken out of. "if you are hungry help yourself to anything. I'll go to the grocery store tomorrow."
You nod your head, exhaustion starting to seep into your bones. Yoongi notices and laughs quietly before he trudged over to kiss your head before giving you one last hug.
"Try to get some sleep, y/n." he says softly, whispering just before he pulls away. "I'm really glad you're here."

The next morning you wake up to the smell of food cooking, making your stomach growl in protest that you haven't moved yet.
After digging into your suitcase to find your stuff needed for a shower, you head to the kitchen to see if Yoongi might need help.
"morning." He mumbles grumpily, making you laugh.
"Still not a morning person I see, oppa." Yoongi glares at you before stirring whatever is in the pan. "What's for breakfast?"
"I used what I had left so.. Kimchi omelet's and rice. There's also coffee."
You nod and with Yoongi's help pointing out where everything is, make yourself a cup of coffee then set the table.
