What began as an easy alpha shift, very quickly divulged into one of chaos.

Armitage Hux had been on the bridge, discussing a new route for the star-ship to take around the outer rim with Lieutenant Mitaka, when a stormtrooper made an unexpected appearance. As they advanced towards the front of the bridge where Hux stood, Hux recognised the number on their chest plate as who Phasma had dedicated the pleasurable job of alerting the General whenever Kylo had gone too far having one of his tantrums. With a quick nod in the direction of his trusted lieutenant, Mitaka walked back to his station and his spot filled with the presence of the stormtrooper.

"General Hux. Lord Kylo Ren has been reported to be on a destructive rampage. He is en route towards the other high-ranking officer's quarters onboard the ship, sir. How shall we advance?" While the trooper may have asked for direction on what he and his fellow squad should do next, the answer he was looking for was the one Hux always gave in these circumstances.

"Leave it to me, EH-5162. You're dismissed," Hux replied stiffly as he sent the troop on his way like usual. With a quiet huff, he turned to Mitaka's station, where the Lieutenant was already poised and ready to listen. "Lieutenant Mitaka, you have the bridge in my absence."

The General had become well accustomed to dealing with the knight's outbursts; whether it be over small or large matters. He stalked the endless corridors of his beloved ship until he reached the door to his quarters, knowing where the man-child would always end up. It wasn't completely unexpected Ren's outburst. It was hours before Kylo was to be sent away on a month-long mission for Snoke, separating the pair for either of their likings, for which Kylo still hadn't come to terms with in the seven months they had been together.

As the metal door slid upwards, Hux was instantly greeted with the sound of items in his room being thrown about. Once he rounded the corner of his patrician, he narrowly avoided the book that had been lobbed past the side of his head which made a dull fud against the wall behind him. Kylo (who had not noticed Hux's arrival) continued his rampage of searching through drawers or on bookshelves to find something he was desperately looking for.

"Kylo?" Hux cautiously asked, taking a safe two-metre distance in case the knight decided to through another object. "What is it? Have you lost something?"

Kylo had swivelled around, the tension remaining in his body as he came face to face with the ginger. He had a look of embarrassment on his features, whether it be from trashing his partner's room or the notion that he had lost something, Hux wasn't sure. "It's nothing. Forget it."

'Ah. One of these moods,' Hux thought dully before his mind registered the fact the knight was now making a move for the door. "Where do you think you're going?"

"My ship, I need to leave. I'm-," Kylo huffed a little, some tension loosening from his shoulders as he stopped in his tracks and travelled the short distance back to Hux, "I'm sorry for the mess, Armitage."

Hux smiled slightly before reaching his gloved hands up to adjust the cowl Kylo was wearing, before letting his palms rest flat just below it, "It's fine. I'll get a cleaning droid to sort it out while I finish my shift. Just promise me you'll come back in one piece- like you always do."
