CHAPTER 11
Circe
"Well damn, that was crazy," Emmet shouted as we walked through the door.
Jasper snickers, blurting, "What a way with words."
Everyone laughs, Waylon, Zelda, and Cain simultaneously looking around in awe. To be fair, I did too when I first came here. It really is beautiful, but even the beauty of the house can't make me stop thinking about that awful man-child.
How dare he do that. What was he even thinking?!
Alice squeezes my hand, immediately comforting my anger-filled state. Tonight is a night that we can let free, and knowing how interesting my first night here was, I know this one is going to be a doozie.
We walk up to Alice's room after telling her parents what we're going to do. All of my friends spend their time admiring the house, much like I did the first time.
We spend most of the night goofing off, playing silly truth or dare, but I begin to see a drift between the two groups, two groups in which I am stuck in the middle of when all of my friends begin to fall asleep.
They're drowsing off, trying to stay up even though they can't while the rest of us have to stay up, we can't sleep.
In Zelda's drowsy state, she asks, "Hey, Circe, how did it feel to beat Newton's ass?"
I grimace, hating what he did to Alice, but a quick squeeze to my hand I have quickly become familiar with brings me back to reality.
"It was like a dream come true, and he might actually leave us alone now," I chuckle, trying to let go again.
Waylon speaks up, voice quiet and full of worry, "Hey, I'm really sorry to ruin the mood, but what are we gonna do when we get older, and you stay the same age."
I can tell how afraid he is, considering he said it in front of everyone instead of holding it in.
I sigh, worried about it as well, "We won't have to think about it for a while, but when we do I'll tell you the same thing I will now. As long as we love each other, it doesn't matter. Love transcends everything, just look at me and Alice. She's like hundreds of years old, but I still love her."
Alice coughs, choking on something that could only be air. My eyes widened, realizing the severity of my words.
That was the first time one of us said we love the other.
"Oh, wait uhm. Well..." I trail, having no way I can clear my name without hurting her feelings. I know she likes me, but something in the back of my brain is still telling me she can't love me. She's gonna get weirded out and run away to Alaska with her family.
I lay my head in my hands, embarrassed that I even let it slip out, especially in front of everyone.
She lets out a final cough, clearing her throat before announcing, "Circe, I love you too!"
Her voice is higher than normal, nervousness evident in her tone. I look up, seeing her with a surprisingly red face, which should be impossible.
She sighs, grabbing my chin and pulling me in for a kiss. Edward and Rosalie turn away in disgust, but everyone else starts cheering, booing as we pull away.
As everyone quiets down, Alice and I are still living in a euphoria of feelings, all of my mortal friends begin to pass out one by one, and all of the Cullens abandon Alice's bedroom floor for their own rooms.
It leaves Alice and me as the only ones awake, whispering about different things, expressing love like those cheesy couples in movies.
This day started off awful, but this is the best ending I could imagine. Sitting with my girlfriend in my arms, having beaten up the person that has bullied me since we were kids. What could be better?

Well, it's done. Definitely not my best work but it was really fun to write. Sorry with how short the final chapter is, and how not good the ending is. I'll probably rewrite this in a year or so, but for now, enjoy!
