Jamison POV

It was the next morning after my best day ever, and I was excited to go to school. We only have about a month left of the school year, and I am happy junior year is almost over. I turn 18 a couple days before school lets out, so I'm excited for that as well.

I got up to get dressed. Jasper stuck his head in making sure I was up and to say good morning as he's been doing the past couple days. I went to the bathroom and completed my morning routine with Midnight eating his breakfast in his area in my room.

After I was done I made my way downstairs with an actual appetite this morning. When I got to the dinning room I saw my brothers sitting at the dining room table, this was a new normal. We we converse before we all started the day. Jamie had made me an egg sandwich this morning and I gratefully ate it before leaving for school.

I gave Jamie, Mason and Maverick a hug as the had to quickly exit to make their way to work. Me and Jasper hung back a little longer as we had the time.

"You ready for school today Bub?"

"Yeah, I'm actually excited for once." I smiled at him as we made our way out the door, Midnight by my side as always.

He nodded and gave me a smile as we entered the car. After the 15 minute drive to school, I got out Jasper graced me with a hug before heading to his classroom.

I went to my locker, when I saw Toby heading my way. The weather had finally got warmer I was still in jeans though and a loose t-shirt. Toby had on a fitted t-shirt and jeans, he looked great. My own insecurity started to flare up, I wished I had some sort of muscles.

I had also learned that Toby was 18, but had started school late. He had given me his number at lunch yesterday and we talked yesterday evening. It made me more comfortable to maybe spark up a conversation without stuttering today. Hopefully.

I had to look away for a second to gathering my bearings and courage as he spoke. Midnight could probably sense my distress.

"Morning, Jamison. How are you?" I looked up at him he was at least 6'3 a lot taller than my 5'2 self. I was use to that though as my brothers are that tall. I had told Toby about my brothers yesterday, he was a only child but still had both his mom and dad. I told him about mine and he had offered his sympathy. Of course I had stuttered that entire story to him, but he didn't seem to care.

"I-I'm great Toby. How are you?" I applauded myself in my head I only stuttered once.

He smiled at me, I think my heart flipped in my chest. I wanted to stop those thoughts though I wanted him as my friend, I don't think he would appreciate if he knew I stated to like him.

"I'm good, ready for the day to already be over though. I hate school. I struggle academically." I smiled back at him, I was lucky that I retained information easily.

"Ye-yeah I understand. I'm pretty good academically speaking at school." I said as we made our way to class.

"Lucky. It goes open one ear out the other for me. Would you mind tutoring me sometimes." Oh my god! That would mean hanging out with him outside of school, that would be awesome. I dumbly nodded my head without words to stunned to speak.

"Awesome, we can work out the details later now we have to get to class."

"Okay" I said. I think I'm gonna have an asthma attack. As we entered the class, we continue with light conversation. He was asking about my brothers and we discussed when I could tutor him. I don't really have a life, so I was open to do it whenever. We decided on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after school because he wanted to join the football team and they had practice after school on Monday and Tuesday.
