Jamison POV
I woke up this morning feeling good.
Weird?
Anyways, as I woke up my brain reminded me that I had to go to school today. A certain someone was on my mind. I wondered if he was excited to see me? I was excited to see him. My first friend.
I quickly started my morning routine, and got dressed. I gave Midnight his breakfast, but Toby Montgomery was still floating around my head. I needed to stop, if nothing I wanted him as my friend, there's is no way I'm gonna lose that for a small crush. I shook my head of all thoughts, as I made my way down the stairs to greet my brothers.
They were all at the dining room table, I saw there was breakfast waiting for me as I sat down.
"Good morning." I greeted all of my brothers, as they all greeted me back.
"Are you feeling well enough for school Angel?" Jamie asked looking slightly concerned.
"Yeah I feel a lot better. I'm good to go, don't worry."
"Alright, but if you feel like you need to come home, don't hesitate to call any of us, we'll come pick up, okay?"
"I will." I smiled at him reassuringly.
After breakfast Jasper, Midnight and I got ready to head to school. I hugged all my other brothers goodbye, and we went on our way.
The drive to school was fast, and before I knew it we were in front of the school.
"Have a good day, Bub. Come get or call me if you need anything. Also, meet me at lunch." Jasper said.
I nodded and gave him a hug before we went our separate ways.
I went to my locker, Midnight by my side. I anxiously awaited for Toby's presence.
I finally saw the prettiest hazel eyes come into view.
Snap out of it Jamison, don't ruin this.
I chastised myself.
Toby started walking my way.
"Jamison, I'm so glad you're here, and okay. I was worried."
"I'm sorry I worried you, but I'm glad I'm back too. The hospital is never fun." I internally celebrated, I've been working on my stuttering and how to control my breathing, so there is no external embarrassment.
"Here's some notes for you to catch up on. It's not the best, but I tried." He rubbed at his neck seemingly embarrassed.
"Thank you so much, I don't like falling behind, so this will help. I also wanted to know if you maybe want to come over to the house today after school. We can work on homework, or I could tutor you? If you want." I blushed.
"That would be great. I'll text my parents and let them know. Maybe I could drive you home?"
"Sure, I'll text my brothers. They'll be okay with it I think." I said a full smile on my face, blush still present.
We made our way to class as I quickly pulled out my phone to text Jamie and ask permission.
Hi Jamie. I was wondering if Toby come over today to study. He also asked if I could ride home with him.
Big Brother: Toby? That's the boy you were texting in the hospital right.
Yeah.
Big Brother: Thats fine, just make sure you call when you leave school. Do you like Toby.
I'm not answering that. Have a good day.
