They all watched in silent anxiety as V strode over to Alara. With his gestures O realized he was trying to get her to go somewhere else. Somewhere more private, O guessed. Alara didn't move, just folded her arms and planted her feet. V was shaking his head and gesturing more animatedly now. A wet nose was in O's lap, it was Bam. "Use my ears." "Isn't that cheating?" She hadn't meant to say it out loud, to which Bam made a huffing noise. All the boys were watching her instead now as she looked down at Bam, then they began talking again. "Shhh," O said "Bam's trying to hear for me.""Well that is definitely cheating," said Jin, "but I condone it." And the boys were quiet.

"Look I can't tell you I wish it would work out, it wont, I just don't feel that way about you; and I just didn't realize how true that was until I met O."Alara frowned hard, "That's got to be utter bullshit and you know it V."V rubbed at his eyebrow. "It's really not... I've," he paused, "never felt the way I do about her about anyone. I really wish you would respect that.""Well I obviously don't. You can't be dumping me. Are you insane?" Her tone was unkind, with a hint of disgust. "We weren't really together..." At her expression of fury he realized his mistake. Then smiled in an exasperated way and said; "I guess I am." When he said it he looked over at O, and their eyes locked, his smile changed and lifted to them, and they twinkled. Then he looked to her right and noticed Bam sitting there watching him, his floppy ears tense. V shook his head, eyes flicking upward to the sky for a moment, still smiling but more crookedly with disbelief and amusement.He looked back to Alara; "I don't think there's much left for me to say." Then he turned to walk back to their table. Alara grabbed his arm."I'll give you one more chance, don't ruin a good thing.""No thanks. I'm good. The person I am with O is the person I want to be. I couldn't be happier.""The offer still stands. Just come back when you're ready." Her voice almost sounded like she was begging.V almost laughed in anger and frustration; "I said I'm good. I'm not interested." Turning he walked away, without looking back. Alara took one step after him when one of her friends grabbed hold of her hand and pulled her down to be seated. "You're embarrassing yourself girl. Get it together." Her friend said clearly a bit in shock herself.

V strode over to O; "That is definitely cheating." He spoke echoing Jin, pointing to Bam and stuck out his tongue at her, winking, giving his head a little shake. O grinned, and everyone at the table laughed. "I did condone it though," said Jin laughing. "If you've got it, flaunt it." JiMin made a snapping motion, and cackled diabolically. "That is for sure a trick we could use on a mission though." RM chimed in. "She is not ready for any missions yet," V said as if to stomp out the idea. "I'm not sure I'd agree with you there from what I saw today." JungKook chimed in. "Well it's a damn good thing you don't get an opinion right now." Said V, "You really are a bonehead sometimes you know that? I wanted to deal with that situation without an audience." JungKook gave a sheepish grin, pushing the apples of his cheeks upward, chin pointing down but eyes looking at V. "My bad." The look was comical and had V laughing and tussled his hair in a very brotherly way. "Can I just say something," They all looked at Jin, "We've all been waiting for Mr. Honorable to show up again," he cracked up laughing, tucking his shoulders up around his neck. The other boys laughed as well."Why is it when Jin says something like that it always sounds sarcastic or like an insult." JiMin laughed, "if Hobi said the same thing it would sound like a compliment and make you feel good; why is that?" "Heyyy." said Jin and they all erupted into laughter again.V stood behind O hands on her shoulders, he looked about for his chair as Hobi gave a guilty half smile. Laughing V went to get another all the way from the bar, it was taller than the rest. He put it behind O and sat elbow on her shoulder using it to prop his head up, playing with her hair.
