When they walked up the house an angry growl sent O running to the backyard where Coa lay in a tangle of roots, and vines.

"I'm so sorry buddy." She thought as she released him.

He didn't speak back to her, just grunted and nodded at V and lumbered into the forest clearly very annoyed.

"Shit, not my finest moments." O said, scratching her head.

"He'll come round," V took her hand and pulled her into the house.

He pressed her against the closed door, lips at her neck, their fingers were locked together and he lifted her arms above her head. All she could hear was their breathing and hearts beating. He held both her wrists in one hand above her head, kissing down her neck and chest.

"TaeHyung," she breathed his name into his ear. She heard him inhale sharply and exhale hard. Her ribcage felt like it was about to explode open, every nerve ending in her body was on fire.

"Can I?" He asked, his voice low and husky.

She nodded, and whispered breathlessly, "yea."

With one hand he unlaced her bra, it fell from underneath her shirt. Fumbling her fingers with the button of his pants, undoing the first one, he picked her up. Digging and racking her nails along his back, he inhaled sharply, his muscles flexing as he carried her to the bed, kicking the room door shut behind them.

They lay under the sheets, her head on his chest. His heart still beat quickly, she enjoyed the smell of his warm skin.

"I wasn't sure you would come back." She said it, kind of ashamed.

He craned his neck, and lifted her chin so she was looking into his soft dark brown eyes; "I will always find you if you need me, I promise."

Smiling it reached her eyes, she felt so whole with him by her side again. Not that she was not a whole without him but just that this was the best of her. "You really scared me." As she spoke she turned to touch the scarring skin where his marks should have been, there was a faint blue tinge to the rough scabs. "Looks like they may be coming back." She spoke her thoughts out loud.

He shrugged, "they're only marks, as much as I love them, I love you more. I would do anything to protect you."

Kissing him then and scrambling to sit on top of him, it wasn't even remotely graceful. "You won't always have too." Her hair fell over him, like a curtain, showering him in the smell of lavender, and vanilla. She leaned down to him one hand pressed to the wall behind the bed. O couldn't say how long they just stared into each others eyes. "Never let me go," she whispered.

"I won't," and he pulled her into his chest and they lay there tangled in each other, and when sleep took them they remained so intertwined it was hard to see where one began and the other ended.

They could hear the bustle outside; but both refused to get out of bed. It must've been early morning; but they had lost track of time. V's skin colour was back to normal, although his marks seemed to be reappearing it would take time. Enjoying each other's company, just being skin to skin was a luxury she never wanted to live without.

He played with her fingers, obviously in deep thought; "You know," he said, pausing to find the right words. "Sometimes I feel like I'm multiple people; there's V and there's Kim TaeHyung. Both are me but I think Kim TaeHyung is like my soft side, the side which wants to explore the world, wants a family and loves hard. Whereas V, that side is fierce and a warrior. Possibly V helps protect TaeHyung. And maybe even be the more badass side. The side I can hide behind." He laughed.
