- ONE WEEK LATER -
JUSTIN'S POV
The sun dips down, allowing darkness to envelope the sky. The stars twinkle brightly in the night blanket.
I scroll through my instagram, smiling at all my fans' pictures. The aching in my heart just keeps getting heavier and heavier. It's been a week since I've seen Ria. No calls, no messages, no nothing.
I log out from instagram and my thumb finds it pressing on the messages icon. The first thread that pops up is from Ria which was sent a week ago saying that we couldn't meet at all.
What if she forgot about me?
I know that it's a pretty silly thought but I mean we had absolutely no contact for a week straight! Every time, I try to go and find her at her house, she isn't at home.
I even tried the police station but they say she's out. I lock my phone and sigh. My phone vibrates and the screen flashes to reveal a picture of my girlfriend on my home screen. I huff and unlock the message from Kenny.
From: Kenny
Dinner at Macs in 20.
I groan and get up, grabbing my car keys. I swing open the front door and lock it before trudging over to my sleek Black Ferrari. I start the engine and it roars tremendously, showing off the power of its horse engine.
As I start to back off, I couldn't help thinking. I miss you Ria Tyson. I miss you so goddamn much.
RIA'S POV
"FUCK YES!" I scream. "FINALLY! OH MY GOD!" I scream. Carly and Cody stand up, laughing. They have kinda become my best friends/ siblings. "OH FUCK YEAH!!!!!!" Cody shouts, pumping his fists into the air.
Carly starts dancing with Cody and I enjoying in. After one full week of intense stalking, we have FINALLY found out who and where Brice Zimmerman is.
We stop and sit down, clicking open the email.
"Okay guys, 16 Beauford Lane. That shouldn't be far from here." I say, as I read the address off from the email.
Cody frowns, "Actually, it's 2 miles from here and from what I hear, that place isn't a good place for a girl like you to go." "Why?" Carly and I ask in unison. "Because, that's popularly know as the Gangs' Crib." Cody says.
"Oh?" I say, more like a question. I lick my chap lips. My phone then tinkles breaking the silence. I fish it out and tap answer. "Hello sweetheart." My Father's voice echoes.
"Hey Daddy." I instantly smile. He was back on his feet, all good. "Angel, I won't be home for the next three or four nights because I'm flying off to California for the case? Will you be alright? Do you have cash?" He asks.
"Yeah, I do. See you soon." I answer back and we cut the line. "Who was that?" Cody asks me, as he hands me my cup of grape juice.
"My daddy." I say and he nods. "So what's the plan?" Carly asks. "I'm just going out for dinner." I state, and stand up.
"So uhm Beauford road tomorrow early morning?" Cody asks and I nod. "Pick us up at 11am then. I think that's the best, I'll inform the police." Carly smiles and I ug them both before walking out.
I slowly get into my car and drive off. I start to debate on where I should go. MacDonald's OR KFC OR Mos Burger?
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. I hate decisions.
I finally pick MacDonald's and sharply turn into the driveway. I park my car Black Ferrari. As I walk towards the building, I keep on having a niggling feeling in my back.
Like fate wanted me here.
As cheesy and fucked up as that sounds, it's kinda true really. I push open the door, letting the cold air rush out. I curse as I start shivering like some leaf in the wind.
I walk up towards the counter and my green orbs sweep across the huge menu. The man before me steps aside and I walk forward.
"May I help you?" A guy around my age smiles. His dark brown eyes looks at me from head to toe and I somehow feel uncomfortably.
"Uhm. One double cheeseburger. Coke and no upsize. Thanks." I say, in a fast pace. His lips tugs up alittle as his eyes direct to the screen. He taps certain buttons on the screen before looking up again, "Six dollars and fifty cents." He smirks, and I hand him the money without even trying to touch him.
I failed. Our hands brushes and he smiles as he drops the money into the counter before slamming it shut. Since, there weren't anymore customer the guy steps closer to me and smiles again. "What's your name gorgeous?" He asks and I roll my eyes.
"Ria. Now if you excuse me, where's my food? I'm starving like a bitch." I growl. The guy - Adam, according to his name tag - chuckles, "I love feisty girls. They make me feel turned on. Tell me baby, how about you and I this Sunday?" He smirks.
Let me tell you now, I have this most strong urge to knock the living day lights out of this ass.
"No thank you." I shoot back. At that moment, his colleague sets my food on a tray and pushes it to me. "Enjoy." He smiles and I smile back before giving a bitch glare to Adam who winks at me. "Goddamnit. Boys and their fucking raging hormones." I mutter as I set my food on the table.
I get up once again and walk towards the counter, filling my saucer with chili sauce. That bloody counter was all the way at the back, standing at some lonely corner.
I hope nobody attempts rape.
Just as I turn around, I trip over my own shoelace and crash into the person standing behind me.
We both fall down, with me right on top of the person."Shit, fuck-" I gasp but I stop as I sit up. "Ria?" Justin gasps, shock evident in his voice. "Justin!" I screech and fling my arms around his neck.
No words can actually describe how much I missed him.
"I missed you so much baby." Justin whispers in my ear, as he wounds his muscular arms around my waist. "I miss you too." I admit. "C'mon babe, we're still on the ground." He chuckles and stands up, pulling me up with him.
I then notice that my chili sauce made a huge red stain right across his plain white shirt. "Oh my gosh, Jay! Your shirt!" I gasp. He looks down and laughs, "It's alright baby girl. Now why are you here?" He asks.
The way he looked at me, made butterflies fly rapidly at top speed in my stomach. "Uhm, having dinner." I smile. Justin's eyes suddenly start twinkling with a ring of playfulness tinting in it. He grabs my hips and pulls me closer.
I can feel his minty and hot breath down my neck, "Eat quickly and let's go over to yours babe. We need to catch up. I'll see you there." He whispers and walks away leaving me in a state of shock.
I knew why he walked off. Because this is a public place and we couldn't be seen together. I literally run back and start to gobble up my food. I hear chairs screech and I look up to see Justin standing up. He licks his lips and winks making me feel a knotting feeling everywhere.
He walks out just as I finish my burger. I try to calm my nerves down by drinking down the cold water but to no avail, it didn't work.
I soon finish my meal and walk out towards my car. I climb into the car and my sweaty palms grab onto my steering wheel as I drive out.
Honestly? I missed you so much Justin.
