Tears well up in my green eyes as I pull my red Maserati in front of the huge grey building. I run into the building and there a woman in her mid fifties stands behind the reception counter.

"Hello. I'm Maria Jones. How am I help you sweetheart?" She asks with a smile on her kind face.

"A-Aiden Tyson." I gasp. She nods and her fingers moves without any effort over the keyboard. "Level 4,  Room 438, Ward 3, Bed 1." She answers with a smile. "Thanks." I say and run towards the elevator.

I step into the elevator and it starts to hum as the elevator music plays through the little black box. A tinkling noise sounds through and the steels doors open wide to reveal a long and empty corridor.

I walk past all the wards until I reach the the third ward. My legs immediately walk inside and walk towards the first bed where my father lay.

There he lay with his eyes close. His mouth is being covered by a mask which was supplying oxygen to him. The only sounds that can be heard was the many machines my father was hooked up too.

"Daddy?" I choke as I take his big hand. No answer. The tears flow from my eyes freely. No. "Don't leave me daddy." I cry as I kiss his hand.

"Are you Miss Ria Tyson?" A voice asks from behind. I turn around to meet a tall man with kind twinkling brown eyes. I nod meekly and watch him as he walks towards me.

"Hello dear. I'm Doctor Smith." He introduces himself. I just stare at him, unable to open my mouth to get my words out.

"What actually happened?" I ask as I steal a glance towards my father.  "Hit and Run. It's pretty serious. He has slipped into coma." He explains.

My jaw drops, "W-What?" I stutter. "Yes dear. But do not worry. Your father is a fighter from what I see. He will wake up within a week tops." He reassures me.

I heave out a sigh of relief. "Who did this?" I ask, feeling anger rise in my body rapidly. That bloody coward.  "Investigations are still going on." He tells me while he writes something on the check board he had picked up during our conversation.

I swallow a lump in my throat and lean forward to kiss my father's forehead. "Will he be alright?" I ask. I just needed reassurance. "Yes love, he will be." He smiles.

"Thank you very much Doc." I smile and we shake hands. "Stay strong daddy. I love you." I whisper before kissing his forehead once more. I wipe my tears and pull out my phone from my pocket.

I look through my contacts and dial a number. "Hello?" A deep voice answers. "Officer Summers? Detective Ria Tyson here. Is it okay if I can come over to the station now?" I ask.

"Sure love. What do you prepared?" He asks. I hear some rustling of papers and everything goes silent. "The documents, Jazzy's body and the CCTV camera footage of the road where my dad got hit." I reply back.

"Alright." He agrees and we cut the line. I walk outside towards the stairs and run down. I reach the ground floor and walk past Mari who smiles at me. I send her a small grin and run towards my car.

I gun the engine and start to drive out of the hospital. I drive down the lane, seeing the trees and nature pass by me quickly.

I reach the huge navy blue police headquarters within minutes. I park my car and get out. "Detective Ria. I'm Officer Lee. Officer Summers is waiting for you." An Officer greets me. "Thanks." I smile.

We walk into the towering building and walk up a flight of stairs where we meet Officer Summers. "Thanks Lee. Miss Ria. Welcome." He smiles and walks into a huge white room.
