The cuffs around my wrists loosened as we entered the station. Those bastards always put them too tight, probably thought I'd slip out of them like Houdini. "I'm getting really tired of picking you up from scenes, Na'Déja." Hop softly pushed me through the door and towards his desk. "Then don't, I didn't ask for you to come save me, Hopper."
He sighed, taking a seat. "I'm not gonna allow you to have a record."

I scoffed. "Yeah right. You're only 'protecting' me because my dad asked you to before he got locked up. You don't give a shit about me or my brothers." My words seemed to sting a little. Hop and dad were best friends back in the day. Dad moved here after he and mom got married, they wanted a change from the limelight. "I'm just- I just wanna keep you safe, Bex. Can I do that?"
I could keep being a bitch, but he didn't deserve that. I nodded my head, avoiding his gaze.

"Yeah... Sure." He hummed in response. His eyes began to focus on the paperwork in front of him. "There's a party tonight," He said, "You going?" He didn't meet my eyes. "Yeah. Anthony, Cassidy, and Ashton will be there to keep me out of trouble."
He let out a soft chuckle. "Since when do the four of you keep each other out of trouble?" He asked. "Since I keep getting arrested. Cass doesn't need to get locked up again."

"Yeah, you're telling me. I remember that black eye he got his first time in the pound." I smiled, "It was sick. He totally deserved it though, always runnin' his mouth to whoever."
"That's your brother, Bex," He countered. I shrugged. "So what? Gotta tell it like it is, Hop." I got out of my seat and brought him into a side hug. "I'll see ya' later."

He yelled at the top of his lungs before I left, "Don't get arrested tonight!"

"No promises, chief!"

My feet stomped loud against the steps as I headed down to the basement. Anthony was blasting his bullshit music again. I banged on the door until he swung it open. "The fuck is your damage, Bex?" He blew smoke into my face as here sat back on his bed. "What's taking you three so long? I wanna get to Tina's party before it ends, dipshit."
Our heads turned as several pairs of footsteps came down. "You two ready? We've been waiting for like ever."

I rolled my eyes, grabbing the keys from Cass's hand. "I'm driving." They followed behind me and we piled into the car. Cassidy had gotten me a nice ass 65 Camero SS for my birthday a few months ago, I let them drive it whenever I feel like being a nice sister. I revved the engine and sped off down the road.
Ash turned the radio up when Judas Priest started playing.

'Cause you're the Green Manalishi with the two-pronged crown.
all night dragging us up or you're bringing us down.'

I shoved Cass's face away as he screened into my ear. I swerved the car into Tina's drive, sending the boys flying to the right of the car. Ash hit his head, Anthony fell into him, and Cass was laughing his ass off. I turned off the car and threw Cass the keys. "You're babysitting." He scoffed, hopping out right behind me. "No fair, I babysat last time."
"Yeah, well, now you get to do it again."

I walked up to some random kid. "Keg?" I questioned. He pointed towards the backyard. Following his direction, I saw Tommy H and everyone else circling around some guy. He was on the keg for a while before hopping down. "Hargrove! C'mere for a second," Tommy called. He made eye contact with me and made his way over. "Heard you got arrested on your first day back," He snickered. "I'll do it a second time if you don't get your hot ass breath out of my face, Hagan."

His grin faltered as he stepped aside. I slid the sticky leather off my arms and shoved it into his, pushing myself into a handstand. "Tap me!" Tommy pushed the boy over and he put the spout in my mouth.
They counted loud and proud for me.

45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50...

It went on before I couldn't take it anymore. The booze hit me like a truck when I got back down. Carol handed me a drink and I chugged it. A few boys came over and lifted me on their shoulders. "Keg Queen, Keg Queen, Keg Queen!"
I had that title for a while now. No other girl came close to beating it. But that new kid on the other hand, he beat Steve by a landslide. "Hey, what about the Keg King!" I boasted. I looked down at him, watching his lips curl into a smirk.

"Billy, Billy, Billy!"

They finally put me down when we got to the door. "Got ourselves a new Keg King, Harrington." Tommy followed behind the boy like a lost puppy. It was embarrassing. "Yeah, eat it, Harrington!"
Steve pulled his shades off his face, staring daggers at the three boys. "Don't leave out the keg queen," Billy smirked. "She's got herself a title now."
I cleared my throat, stepping through the two boys in my way. "I've always had that title, but you haven't. Don't brag too much, hot shot."

Snatching the cigarette from his fingers, I placed it between my lips. His eyes stared intently as I took a long drag from it. "What's your name, doll?" He asked. "Bex Rockefeller."
I shook my hand out for him. He hesitantly took it. "You don't look like you'd be a Rockefeller."
I chuckled. "Say thank you to great great grandpappy, he cut the bloodline and changed the color up a little."

I pointed towards my skin before handing him the cancer stick back. "Jacket, dickwad." I stuck my hand out, not even bothering to look at Tommy. He handed me my jacket and I pranced over to one of my brothers. "Is that Mary Jane?" I grinned. He returned the look and placed the joint in my hand. "You were supposed to be sober," I commented. "Like I've never driven high before... Or drunk."

"Yeah, you crashed your car doing that, remember?" I reminded. He rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Go have fun before I drag you three out of here." I handed him back the joint and went off to dance. I danced with whoever during these events, didn't matter if I liked them or not. Parties were strictly fun and no fuss.
I could feel someone's eyes burning into my head.

I looked around the room before I met theirs. Hargrove.
I raised an eyebrow at him before letting out a soft scoff. So fucking lame. He whispered something to Tommy H and Nicole. Before their eyes turned back to me. Nicole giggled and Tommy rolled his eyes, walking away from the boy.
