Season 1 - Chapter 35: Abyssal Girl

She began chanting peacefully.

"Princess Elysian, you are now responsible for the basilisk. I am sealing them to you. You shall keep it and treat it as your own and as you are no matter what. Mythical basilisk, I cast thee to be Elysian's summo. I now seal you as her responsibility, and her as your responsibility. May you both abide in peace and august given by the celestial."

And with that, Elysian's orbs disappeared in total shock because of the impact. The princess got on her knees, the basilisk beamed as its little orb seals with her. The water ball exploded and Damon released the gravity. Princess Elysian screamed in total pain, she was not prepared. Van immediately roused to support her sister, he ran and get her sister to his embrace.

"What the fuck?" Damien angrily scoffed at Celestial.

Mahal na mahal nila ang prinsesa, kapag masaktan ito'y magkakaroon ng gyera. She can see their anger, even Damon who's hurting is now mad at her. Her tears watered her lashes, her heart clenched. Sana all.

"Let's go home." Van whispered to Elysian and carried her carefully out of the tavern, "I'm going to take the Princess to the palace now. I'll go ahead."

And with that, the Prince blinked out of the tavern carrying the Princess. Mukhang nakalimutan na ng mga ito ang presensya niya. Gaano ba kahalaga ang Prinsesa at awtomatiko silang nagagalit kapag may nangyari dito kahit 'di pa nila alam ang dahilan? Tumayo na rin si Damon na agad na inalalayan ni Damien palabas ng tavern.

Her heart clenched. Iyon ang unang pagkakataon na nalungkot siya ng sobra. Gusto niyang umiyak ng malakas dahil sa nakakapanibagong sakit na nararamdaman. Para siyang pinagsukluban ng langit at lupa. At sa oras na iyon ay literal na gusto niyang lamunin ng lupa.

The love and care from their eyes, she want it too. The care they have for the Princess, she wants it too. Because she was never purely treated so precious in the Abyss. They calls her ethereal goddess because they gets something from her, she mends them. But when she's away, she knew how they backstab her. Even her mom only treats her well because she gains money. So watching how they turn their backs on her just because the Princess was suddenly hurt for a reason they don't even know breaks her heart into pieces.

She wished to be loved too. How does it feel to be loved? To be truly loved not because of money, fame, or what? Ano nga bang pakiramdam ng minamahal ng tunay ng walang dahilan?

The fight has ended, the summos were safely sealed with the Royals. And they don't know it, should she have let them know? Or should she have casted louder enough for them to hear what she just did? Why can't she be recognized in a good way? Why can't she be appreciated for atleast once?

She looked at the twins once again, they're out of her sight now. She sighed as she began to step out of the tavern too. Almira's must be waiting, she needs to get back at the shop before her mom goes berserk.

"Good bye." She whispered as she glanced at the royal's trail once again.

Will she see them again? She'll probably tell them what she just did the second time around. She have discovered another ability again, but why is she not satisfied? She doesn't feel happy. Too much for a day.

Madaming tao sa labas ng tavern pagkalabas niya, mukhang curious ang mga ito sa ingay na nanggagaling sa ilalim. Nahawi ang mga tao, iyon siguro ang dinaanan ng mga Maharlika. At muling nahawi ang mga tao nang dumaan siya palabas, ang lahat ay nakatingin sa kaniya, animo'y nagtataka dahil bago ang kaniyang presensya. Ngunit walang nagtangka sa kaniya, ni isang daliri ay wala s'yang naramdaman.

"Huwag niyong hahawakan yan, isa 'yang maharlika. Ang kapa niya ay sa Magnate, lumayo kayo!"

Iyon ang bulungan ng mga tao. Napabuntong hininga si Celestial at napakapit sa kaniyang kapa. Kanina lamang ay may nagtangka sa kaniya dahil sa kaniyang kapa, pagkatapos ngayon ay iniiwasan na siya ng lahat dahil sa kapa. Sure, Eufrata is weird as well.

She walked across the alleys. Just when she reached the boulevard, she saw two familiar persons at the corner of the alleyway; one leaning against the wall and one standing behind a post. She stopped on her tracks before turning to the other side to hear the young echelons out who have immediately noticed her presence.

"By the way, Van and Elysian might have forgotten which I know they have not, but we haven't too and we are here so, yeah, gotta confront you about the cape." Damon said holding the body of the post as he faced her.

Damien who's leaning his back against the wall glared daggers at her, "Why are you wearing a Magnate cape? Are you a Magnate? Or are you a thief?"

Celestial sighed. She removed the cape and lend it to them.

"You can have this."

Damien scoffed. "We don't need it. We don't want it. We want an answer."

"I saw this cape hanging in a post, I checked it, I wore it and those people began chasing me. I bumped in to you, sovereigns." She responded giving the cape to Damien who's near her.

"It's either you have not forgotten that we're sovereigns or you've just finally remembered. The last time I reminisce you almost killed me by choking me." Damien said and clicked his tongue. "I know you're the girl from the Abyss. Taga saan ka ba talaga? Ano'ng ginagawa mo dito? Are you a spy from the Abyss? What will you do? What are you planning to do?"

"Wala sa mga sinabi mo. Wala akong plano o anupaman. Sa ngayon, kailangan ko nang bumalik kay Mama dahil ayokong maprito mamaya."

"What?"

"Farewell."

Before they could react, she let go of the cape and ran away. Her heart clenched, she doesn't want to leave yet. She still want to talk with those people, but she needs to go. They stared at her as she disappeared from the boulevard. They did not have the chance to ask her more, she's quite interesting, mysterious, and so not open. She was hasty and they couldn't do anything about her struggle. Baka daw maprito siya mamaya ng delikado niyang Ina.

Damien shrugged and walked away while Damon remained on his post, still watching her trail.

"She got a Caesar vibe." Said Damien picking the cape.

Damon shrugged. "I doubt that. More like a Magnate."

"Idiot, she's from the Abyss. Umamin ka nalang na may crush ka sa mga Magnate, dinadamay mo pa yung inosenteng bata!"

"Baka ikaw. May nahuli ka na rin sa mga Caesar 'no?"

"Shut up."

They became quiet. They both glanced at her trail once again, and then tilted their heads to the palace. For a minute or two, some sentries will be on their way looking for them. But whatever, they're stubborn as heck.

"Wanna go back to the palace yet?"

"Nah,"

"All right then."

They both laughed and ran to the boulevard where the girl went.
