Jamie and Hannah stood there as Kim looked to them. She didn't look impressed. "Do you want to tell me why you got Adalynn's best friend pregnant?" Kim asked as she looked to her son.

Jamie sighed. "We were drunk. She had been out with Addie. And as usual Addie was drunk. So Hannah got her back here. We got drunk together. And obviously had sex."

Kim rolled her eyes. "She's the same age as your sister. Why?"

"It just happened. We're making it work though. For our baby. And we want your support," Jamie said.

Kim sighed. She turned and walked off. Hannah turned to Jamie. "What does that mean?" She asked.

Jamie shrugged and smiled. "Whatever she says, it won't change how I feel. I want to make this work with the baby."

Hannah nodded. "I want that too."

Hannah was sitting in the cafe. Adalynn walked in. "So. My mother is back. She tells me she knows about your baby. Did she say she was going to support you?" She asked.

"She didn't say anything. She walked away. What does that mean?" Hannah asked.

Adalynn shrugged. "I barely know my mum. She wasn't ever there for me growing up. So I don't know how she works. But I'll talk her round for you."

Hannah nodded and sighed. "I just don't want her to hate me. I know I'm a Dingle."

"Oh please. My mum is a lot of things. But she doesn't let past grudges with your family affect her possible relationship with you. Trust me on that," Adalynn said as she smiled. "It will be okay. I promise."

Hannah walked into the pub. She saw her mum and smiled. "Kim Tate knows about the baby. She didn't say anything."

Chas smiled and nodded. "It's gonna be okay. Kim Tate won't make or break anything with you and Jamie. And Adalynn is your best friend. She already wants to be there for you. You've got nothing to worry about."

Hannah sighed. "But its Kim Tate. She doesn't have a great past with our family does she? What if she uses that to not want me to have Jamie's baby?" She asked.

Chas looked to her daughter. She smiled. "That's stupid. Jamie and Addie are great kids. They won't let Kim Tate ruin anything."

"I don't know mum. It's all too messy."

"It's not."

Hannah turned to see Jamie there. He smiled and looked to her. "I don't care what my mum has to say. You're the person I care about. You and our baby. And I know this hasn't been easy. But I want it to be. Just me, you and the baby."

Hannah smiled. "What are you saying?" She asked.

"I'm saying I want to give this a go. If you want to? I know it won't be easy. But we can try can't we?"

"I think we can."

"We can take it slowly. I want to take you out first. Get to know you properly," Jamie said as he took her hand.

"Okay."

Hannah walked into the cafe. She smiled as she saw Adalynn. "Jamie wants to take things slow with me."

"Yeah. I told him he had to step up. I also told my mum that she couldn't stop anything between you. She'll come round though. I know she will," Adalynn said as she smiled. "It's all going to be okay."

Hannah nodded and smiled. But she had no idea how it was going to be anything but simple.
