Chapter 16- friendly cuddles

Archie's pov
"Come on toni please just lay down" I said to the girl as she was jumping on the bed "you said this was a party!" She said annoyed while sitting in the bed looking at me. She is adorable. "I want Cheryl" she huffed sadly "I know, but she can't be here now" I said as I lay the girl down and covered her in blankets she yawned and make a space for me "I don't think that's a good idea toni I should probably go see everyone else so I can tell them you are okay" I said as I really don't want to get into trouble with Cheryl. "Please Cheryl" she mumbled does she think am Cheryl? I literally just told her, actually never mind she probably won't even remember any other this tomorrow I very slowly got into bed with the girl. She placed my arm under her head and she lay on my chest and put her arm around my waist "you feel different" she said as she started trying to get comfortable then when she finally did she sighed happily "I love you Cheryl, am sorry I freaked out about it before" toni said sleepily. I could stop my heart from beating so fast it almost came out my chest. I played with the girls hair to help her fall asleep. Then eventually I fell asleep with her.
Cheryl's POV
We finally got back to the hotel apparently toni and Archie should be here already so I have to check on them "here is the spare key to Tonis room" Veronica handed me the key and we both just head to the room alone. We knocked first "no moaning that's a good sign" Veronica joked but it wasn't funny to me. I slowly opened the door and we saw them sleeping, toni was on top of Archie with her head on his chest and he has his arms wrapped around her waist with a smile on his face. My stomach twisted with jealousy "see I told you they would just be sleeping" Veronica said happily. Toni started to move, me and Veronica panicked and hid quickly "shit! Shit no not Archie!" We heard her whispered from the bathroom we hid in "okay am fully dressed that's a good sign...omg CHERYL!" We heard her shout obviously panicking I wanted to go out and tell her it's okay but Veronica grabbed my hand and shook her head "woah there toni! Calm down! Are you okay? you really haven't been asleep long" Archie said kindly "I don't care! If Cheryl sees me here with you! She will never believe that we didn't do anything!...wait we didn't..right?" I heard toni say me and Veronica where trying really hard not to make a sound "no, we didn't am not the kinda guy to take advantage of girls when they are higher then a kite" Archie said making toni laugh "argh am so stupid Archie, does she know we are in here together?" Toni questioned "yeh of course she does, I don't think she will care as long as you are safe" Archie said making me smile. Maybe I can trust Archie. "Do you think she hate me now? I mean now that she knows am addicted to Prozac?" I heard Archie laugh at the girl "Cheryl? Hate you? No definitely not she will try to help you toni and I think you should let her. There is obviously something going on in your life that you secretly aren't happy about but you and Cheryl have something that no one else can explain. I know when Cheryl likes someone and I think what you have is more then that" Archie explained making toni laugh again "how are you single Archie andrews?" Toni joked "well I have been in love with a girl for years but never really done anything about it" Archie admitted. Me and Veronica looked at each other confused "Veronica? Am guessing" we heard toni say. Veronica walked closer to the door so she could hear everything more clear "yeh. I kinda think she likes betty tho... which is fine obviously! It's just hard you know" Archie admitted with a loud sigh "Archie Andrews you are the most oblivious man I think I have ever met! You saw the way she acted when I suggested you to be my fake boyfriend! Omg! You really need to make a move before she does leave for betty" toni joked making Archie laugh "you are not so good yourself you know, you completely freaked out when someone mentioned the love word" Archie joked back "argh! I hate that word! Nobody ever really means it! There has been so many people who have told me they love me but they always fuck me over. The word just freaks me out!" Toni admitted I felt myself get sad. "You don't remember do you?" Archie said making me interested again. "You thought I was Cheryl before...you told me you loved her" I gasped for too loud and Veronica covered my mouth quickly then once we knew they didn't hear she let me go."you are joking right? Come on! We have only known each other for what! 3 days? It's impossible to fall in love that quick andrews" toni said more sad "have you never heard of love at first sight?" Archie joked "that's only a thing for the movies andrews, just so they can move the story line along" I rolled my eyes at toni even though she couldn't see me. "So tell me topaz, how did you feel when you first saw Cheryl? How do you feel when you see her now?" There was a long silence before toni answered "truthfully and I will kill you if you tell her this so soon but I felt...seen, like she wasn't looking at toni topaz the famous singer/song writer, she was looking at Antoinette topaz the broken girl from riverdale. I instantly knew she was different and I instantly was drawn to her like a magnet and now she makes me crazy! I look at her and I want her closer to me, I kiss her and it's like...am home,am safe from the world" I couldn't stop the tears from falling at how beautiful her word where. Veronica was also tearing up and smiling at me. "Now Antoinette topaz, after all of that can you really tell me love at first sight is only in the movies? Because I think your life must be a movie then" Archie laugh we heard the bed moving and the blankets being thrown around "stop! Stop! Am sorry! I won't say it again!" Archie said laughing "that's what I thought andrews! I think love is my biggest fear" toni admitted "well it's a good thing am here to be your not so lover boyfriend" toni laughed at the boy "I couldn't ask for a better fake boyfriend andrews, speaking of that are we going to go public tomorrow? I mean I don't see why not" toni said they must be getting ready to leave because there is a lot more movement "I think you need to go talk to Cheryl, she will probably be worrying like crazy right now then once that's sorted we can talk about what's happening" Archie said as there voices started to quite down "one more thing andrews, kiss me on the cheek again without me knowing and I will kick you in the balls, I like you but not that much yet" toni said while laughing. The last thing we heard before they left the room was the two of them laughing. "We really where not supposed to hear that!" Veronica whispered to me. I smiled widely "am glad I did tho, I feel so much better about them being in public now" Veronica sighed a little "I should have flirted with him more" she said sadly I laughed a little "there is no way you could have flirted with him anymore! Just like toni said he is completely oblivious! At least now he might make a move" I said as I grabbed Veronicas hand and carefully left the bathroom we checked the hall way and luckily no one was there. I sighed as we left the room and linked arms "so love at first sight eh?" Veronica teased nudging me I rolled my eyes with a big smile "so Archie andrews eh?" I teased back making us both laugh. "Guys where the hell have you been?" Betty said as she came out of her room. Me and Veronica looked at each other and started hysterically laughing. "You don't even want to know" Veronica said as we pushed past the girl and went into her room. Everyone was here, toni was the first one I made eye contact with "hi" she said awkwardly I smiled and glanced at the floor when I looked back up I saw Archie nudge her gesturing for her to say something else she cleared her throat "um we should talk right?" Toni asked I nodded silently "woah this got awkward really fast" jughead said earning a glare from everyone in the room. " we should go to another room...for more privacy" I suggested and she agreed. We left awkwardly and headed back to her room as soon as we where through the door toni shut it and locked it "okay let me go first" toni said pausing to make sure that was okay with me. Which it was. "I can promise you right now Cher that me and Archie did absolutely nothing! We had a little cuddle because I thought he was you but that's besides the point, there saw no kissing, no touching just friendly hugs" she said I laughed a little and smiled at how adorable this girl is. "I also what to apologise for the lying to you...about my antidepressant, they hit me a bit hard and I just went crazy saying stuff and running around am really sorry" toni said as we sat on the bed facing each other. I held her hand gently and started to rub the back of it. "I trust you toni and I know Archie isn't the type of person to take advantage of girls...I understand why you lied TT you don't want me to know your problems when we only met a few days ago? You are scared I will fuck you over or use your feelings against you. Trust me I understand. But toni honestly we might not have known each other for long but I have never felt this way with anyone. EVER." I admitted to the girl hoping to ease her mind a bit. "Thank you Cheryl...for understanding" she said as she raised my hand to her lips and kissed it gently. "I loved the song btw, we never go to talk about it" I said lighting the mood a bit she smiled "thanks um I wasn't going to preform it in front of everyone, but things happen I guess" toni admitted to me "it's okay, I think it was quite romantic toni until your brother ruined it obviously" toni laughed then sighed "yeh he likes to do that" she said we fell silent for a moment. We where just holding each other and smiling. I started playing with her fingers then I looked up at the girl, she is so pretty...she had a small smile on her lips as she watched our hands. I let her go and gently lifted her chin so she would look at me, I looked down at her lips then back into her eyes "can I kiss you?" I asked a little nervous she rolled her eyes smiling "you don't need to ask red" she said as she pulled my shirt so our lips connected. This kiss was different from most of our other kisses, it was deeper, faster. Toni pulled me onto her and entered her soft tongue into my mouth, I smiled as I felt her warm hands wonder up my shirt to my waist. I have never done anything like this before but I want more. I broke apart from her lips and attacked her neck leaving small "watch it blossom, don't start something you can't Finnish" toni breathed out as I found her sweet spot, I heard her let out a small moan just before she flipped us over easily. She smirked at me playfully and she kissed me deeply I felt butterflies fly around my stomach. Her hands found themselves back up my shirt on my breasts she pulled away for a second to make sure it was okay which it obviously was. She smirked again leaning down and kissing me again but this time she squeezed them causing me to gasp and moan slightly. Suddenly Tonis phone started to ring. She jumped off me quickly answering it (v= Veronica T=toni )
V- toni! You need to get Cheryl out of there! Dan is looking for you two he knows you both aren't here with us!

Tonis POV
I started to panic my who body jolting with adrenaline "Cher you need to leave right now!" I said grabbing the girls hand and dragging her quickly across the room to the door, I quickly poked my head out to make sure he wasn't standing there "go over to that room and stay there if he asked you are tired and need to sleep" I said panicking and throwing her out my room and slamming the door on her. I sighed jumping into bed hoping we got away with it. Suddenly my door slammed open. Fuck.
