Chapter two-school

Cheryl's pov
I groaned as my half six alarm rang through my ears making me jump up out off bed. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, then my hair after doing that I did my make up into just a natural look (obviously adding my iconic red lipstick). While I was putting my hair into a ponytail my phone rang i sighed seeing Veronica's name flashing on the screen but i answered anyway and put the device to my ear "hey v" I said trying not to sound annoyed or tired "wow you sound so excited about our performance tonight" she chuckled on the other end off the phone "oh yeah I will be excited when it's almost time to get on that field because right now we still have school" I said with attitude in my words I heard her sigh "why do you have to be like that c" she said sadder I rolled my eyes "I gotta go and Finnish getting ready see you at school v" I said hanging up before she could say anything else. Slowly I walked to my walk in closet and looked around at all my clothes and picked out a small black skirt with a fishnet red crop top and my favourite red heals. I looked at the time and realised I only had half and hour to get to school and I still had to set up some stuff for the cheerleaders and I since this is going to be the biggest football game we have ever had in riverdale. I headed down stairs as slowly and quietly as I could hoping my mother wouldn't talked to me. "Cheryl!" My mother shouted from the other room making me groan and turn to realise she was right in front off me looking me up and down "you better not mess up on the field some special people will be watching you" my mother reminded me for the 100th time in the past two days "I won't , don't worry" I picked up my red Gucci purse and got my car keys out off it quickly leaving my house and sighing "bitch" I said under my breath as I walked into my red Porsche new 911 Carrera S model. I sat in the car and plugged the ox cord into it and scrolled down to my favourite song called watch (actually by billie eilish check it out it's a really good song) by Toni topaz. Am so mesmerised by the younger girls voice it's so soft and low but is powerful, emotional and makes my whole body tingle sometimes I obviously don't tell anyone I absolutely love her songs because it's stupid to be so in love with someone's voice. honestly she is beautiful for being 16 also she is very successful for her age I leaned my head off the car seat letting the words and voice drift into my ears "I'll sit and watch your car burn with the fire you started in me" the song sang making me close my eyes and sink into it. I stayed there for a while until I realised I needed to get to school so I started the car and raced off heading to school hoping I still had time to at least too get the ribbons ready since we all agreed to them being there and since am normally there early I volunteered. After about ten minutes and about four of Toni's songs mentally preparing me for today I finally pulled up to school and jumped out off my car I realised I had just got here on time meaning I couldn't set up anything yet. "Fuck" I whispered to myself walking down the school halls as everyone split into two sides off the halls to let me past , all there eyes on me sometimes can make me uncomfortable but I get used to it by the end off the day I stopped at my locker putting the pin in and opening it pulling out my English and art book since that's what I had first. "Hey c" I heard Veronica's cheerful voice say from behind me I shut my locker and turned to see the girl wrapped in Archie Andrews arms/her boyfriends arms making me roll my eyes. "What wrong with you today?" V said suggesting I have something wrong everyday "I didn't get to set anything up because I was late" Veronica smiled a little "well first lesson is only art and you're already amazing at it so why don't you just skip and set everything up?" I nodded putting my art book in my locker then walking to the field where all the decisions and things we need where. I spent the whole hour setting the decorations and stage up but the good thing is I got to listen to toni for the whole hour her voice just makes time go faster and lifting things seem less painful. I was actually a little excited for the game tonight once I seen everything up and ready, time flew after that and before I knew it it was dinner time and I was sat with the sad breakfast club biting into my fruit salad. "Did you guys hear about what Toni topaz did late last night?" Betty cooper also known as my cousin asked fiddling with jugheads fingers since his arm was around her. "Omg yeah when she missed her flight just to talk to fans that's amazing how can someone be so nice?" Veronica said getting really excited about hearing the singers name it's weird really Veronica is always talking about the girl things,she had done,her new songs coming out anything you possibly could talk about in a person and too think about it so does jughead. "Yeah she also gave up her seat for a couple old people and bought a chair so the man would be comfortable" jughead said leaning forward I seen the look he gave Veronica it was like they know something no one else knows. "And she gave her first class ticket to a random man!" Archie added to the conversation after checking out a girl walking past our table I rolled my eyes at everyone. I actually love how nice she is how she cares and listens to everyone she meets no mater what but I just roll my eyes and act like I don't care "wait Cheryl you don't like Toni , like not even one song at all" Betty said in complete shock I shook my head "not even one song" I said and everyone gasped I rolled my eyes again "wait she put on her story she is in riverdale" Archie said looking up from his phone Veronica and jughead looked at each other wide eyed huge smiles on there faces. "Veronica lodge and jughead Jones can you please go to the P.E hall and Betty cooper,Archie Andrews and Cheryl blossom please come to the principles office everyone else go home it's a half day but remember the football game later on tonight" a voice rang through the speakers making everyone cheer at going home early but the sad breakfast club and I looked at each other confused but stood up and started walking to where we where called too.
Veronica's pov
Jug and I said bye to the others and went the other way to them "do you think it's Tiny?" Asked jughead hopefully. You see me,jughead and Toni topaz yes the very famous Toni topaz are best friends me and jug love her more then anything she is like a little sister. It's really weird me and jug are born on the same day same time and same year our mothers are still best friends so we grew up together it was just the two off us well until exactly a year after we where born Toni was born on the exact same day and exact same time but a year later and Toni's mum was our mothers best friend they where all probably the most powerful three woman group in history. Well that was until Toni's mother had unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer when tiny was 14 and us 15 that's what inspired tiny to start singing she wrote a song called mum (actually by Nathan grisdale ) and she blew up and has only went up hill from there. Me and jug made an agreement to keep our best friendship just to friends but me,jug and tiny FaceTime and text almost every second we can. "I hope"I answered jug after a moment off silence we both stopped as we approached the gym doors "what do we do if it is her?" Jug asked pulling his beanie on "we hug her tighter then we ever have before" I said slowly pushing open the door and walking through "tiny?" Jughead said lowly "VERONICA" I heard the girls voice scream making me run into the hall more "JUGHEAD" I heard her say then footsteps me and jug both turned and Toni was running to us I immediately dropped my bag and so did jug as we both caught her in our arms falling to the ground. "I missed you both so much!" She said her head on jugs chest and her legs wrapped around me we both laughed "we missed you too" we both said in unison she got off and helped us up "what that hell are you doing here I thought you where on tour" jughead said his smile mirroring mine "I am I made sure I could preform in my home town to make sure my family was alright and to you really think I will miss my brothers first football game and my sisters first cheer game?" she said sweetly hugging us one more time until she started playing with her hair meaning she is nervous "what's wrong?" I asked putting my hand on her shoulder her smile seemed to brighten "well I was hoping you and your friends could come and join me on tour since I only have a month left and it's kind off boring without you I have spoken to the school and they will set up online classes for you all so when you get back it will be like you never left" she said with pleading eyes me and jug looked at each other with wide eyes "of course I will talk to all off your parents and persuade them" she said nicely making me and jug laughed and nod Toni jumped up and down like a child this girl really is adorable. "Come on let's go get the others" she grabbed our arms to drag us but we didn't move so she looked at us confused "you're a millionaire And a very very famous singer so just walking through a school probably isn't the best idea" I said smiling she rolled her eyes "so protective" we all laughed and I turned her and sat her on the floor "stay" jug said making me and him laugh and Toni roll her eyes "just please hurry up I need to meet them I have wanted too for two years"
