He knew what Asemodeus and Mammon was saying was true , he just didnt wanna admit it ..
Truth be told summer put him under a love spell and like a dumb ass she did it the wrong way and ended up being killed in the process .. King thought she just killed herself, atleast thats what she told him but in reality, the voodoo lady she went to made a deal with the devil in exchange for summer ..
She never told king and she was never going to because the spell was coming off because she wasnt around him frequently enough for the spell to work ..
So in his free time he found ka'nari and she was different to him .. She wasn't finna be a "yes" girl or a dummy ..

Asemodeus hated Summer , he had figured her out even before she died .. he watched summer stalk king before he died .. she would follow him everywhere but was too afraid to talk to him so she put a love spell on him .. Asemodeus didn't think the spell would work since King died but when he got to the upside down and seen how well they clicked he knew what was up..
He didn't say nothing cause he felt it wasnt his place , but at the same time , summer's actions was gone tell on her before he does ..
