"Did it work?" Liam was on the phone with Mason. He put him on speaker so we could hear.
"Yep. Nolan's right behind me. Like, literally right behind me. He's driving a bright red car. He's actually terrible at this." Mason laughed.
"Amateur." I crossed my arms.
"Okay, just be careful." Liam replied.
"Okay." Mason hung up.

Liam, Theo and I got out of Theo's truck. Mason parked besides some trees and we walked towards him.
"Hey. How close is he?" Liam asked referring to Nolan.
"He's back down the road." Mason replied.
"This one?" I asked looking at the road.
"Don't look," Mason whispered and I quickly looked away.
Theo opened the trunk and took out the "provisions".
"Should I come with you guys?" Mason asked.
"His friends shoot to kill. Go home." Theo advised Mason.
"Okay." Mason agreed sighing.
"Yeah, Lydia would kill you if anything happened to her car." I smiled a little bit.
"Don't worry Mason. Nolan's gonna do the rest." Liam assured him.

"There's an Alpha, there's a Banshee, there's a damn Phoenix. They're here. They're all here." Nolan told the two men who looked at him reluctantly.
"Aren't they supposed to be more?" I asked frowning.
"This isn't gonna work." Liam sighed.
"Where's the backup? I mean, shouldn't there be, like, 20 of them?" Theo asked.
"I mean, they only saw us." Liam replied.
"They're not gonna believe Nolan." I sighed looking at the poor stressed kid. He insisted we were here but the other two hunters just found his desperation amusing.
"Okay. Then they have to believe us." Theo spoke having something in mind and I looked at him trying to figure out what he was gonna do. "Isn't that right?" He yelled and Liam and I looked at each other and then looked at Theo.
