Hua Cheng's Birthday Special ~ Good Things Come in Threes

He woke up with the soft sunlight reflecting on the red glass walls and golden columns; he must have fallen asleep at some point, of pure ecstatic exhaustion. Around and over him, a sea of torsos and limbs, white as jade, warm and smooth to the touch. He stirred slightly, and they stirred too; heads with long silky hair moving, hands reaching for him, eyes opening sleepily.

"Gege".

"Hmmm?", the three of them asked.

"I only want the real you now", he said with that sexy sleepy voice he had in the mornings.

"We're all the real me", one of them replied; a hint of teasing could be heard, and another one chuckled lightly. Was Hua Cheng tired of that game?

"I mean you only, no clones".

Suddenly, there was only the Xie Lian he had at his right side, lying languidly. He stretched himself and smiled, "Was it three of me too much?"

Hua Cheng smiled and kissed him, "Never too much! But now", he hugged Xie Lian, "You only are more than enough".

Xie Lian nested himself between Hua Cheng's arms, burying his face in his neck, taking in his hair scent; Hua Cheng's body was of course cold, but Xie Lian always felt warm when being embraced by him. Hua Cheng stayed still, just moving his left hand to comb through Xie Lian's hair down his back softly. After some time like that, Xie Lian asked,

"So, San Lang, did you like your surprise?"

Hua Cheng replied, "How couldn't I, since Gege put such an effort to give me exactly what I wanted?", and flashed Xie Lian a smile so sweet and wicked Xie Lian's breath hitched.

Xie Lian laughed; he knew Hua Cheng could only answer something this shameless.

He lifted his face to look at Hua Cheng, and caressed his face lightly, "I know you don't like to celebrate your birthday..."

"I used to hate it", Hua Cheng replied. "A birthday meant another year had passed without you, so what's to celebrate?"

Xie Lian smiled fondly, and kissed him; then not having enough, kissed him again.

Hua Cheng smiled through their kiss and continued, "Now not only you're here, but you even –", he chuckled looking at Xie Lian in awe, "Gege, you've changed. How could you pull off something like this?"

"Well you know", Xie Lian lifted his face, propping his chin on his hand, "I thought you'd like something naughty for your birthday so..."

"Alright, but three?"

"Hum. You brought a clone before, the boy San Lang, remember?

"A few times actually", Hua Cheng pointed out, trying not to laugh at Xie Lian's slight blush.

"Yeah. So I thought, good things come in threes", and smiled at Hua Cheng smugly.

Hua Cheng smiled and brushed Xie Lian's hair off his face. He twisted his body, supporting his head on his hand, and, looking at Xie Lian, said,

"You know what amazed me the most? You were so naughty, so willing and going for it. So sexy! Normally you'd just blush and be embarrassed... Gege you didn't take Land of the Tender, did you?", he laughed teasingly.

Xie Lian laughed too, and said, "If I told you I didn't?"

Then he laid down, looking at the ceiling thoughtfully, and after a moment, said,

"I think it was because three of me made me feel less self-conscious. Hiding in plain sight, as you may say", he looked back at Hua Cheng and smiled shyly.

Hua Cheng lifted his brows in realisation, "I see".

Xie Lian sat up, tying up his hair, and waved his hand to get the white jaded bath tub on the next chamber full of a fragrant warm water, with floating waterlilies as a nice touch.

Hua Cheng continued, "Just so you know, I love when you blush and get embarrassed. It's super cute", he smiled, and reached out for Xie Lian's hand, grabbing it and interlocking their fingers. Then he gave Xie Lian a different type of look, "And I love when you're naughty. It's crazy sexy".

Xie Lian gave him a little smile and replied, "What could I give a man who has just everything?"

Hua Cheng swiftly pulled Xie Lian on top of him, hugging and kissing him, and, touching Xie Lian's forehead with his, he said, "I do have everything. Right here".

Xie Lian blushed and, giving him a little kiss, said "Alright, let's have a bath".
