Forever- The Beach Boys

I only got 7 hours of sleep and felt like shit when I woke up.

I took more pills and got dressed.

Frannie and Devon were passed out in the living room still in their outfits from last night.

I fed the cats and myself breakfast.

Then left for the airport.

I text Josh that I would be there in a few hours. No reply.

I know this is selfish to this but he never said Happy Birthday. All of my family and other friends did but him.

The plane ride was shit. A baby wouldn't stop crying the whole time so I barely got to sleep.

It landed and I was in the Ohio airport.

I walked out to the pickup area and saw Josh's jeep but no Josh. It was Sam.

"Kathrine! Happy Birthday! Or technically happy belated birthday. How does it feel to be a year old?" Sam beamed as he helped with my bag.

I see what Frannie sees in him.

"Thank you, and I feel like a whole new person" I laughed out.

"Amazing! I'm going to drop you off at the hotel, Josh and you are sharing a room. Also, Mackenzie should just be getting there. So you might see her. Here is the room key" Sam said as he recklessly drove out.

"Oops sorry I'm not the best driver, you might want to hold on," Sam said as he paid more attention to the music than the road.

"It's fine I can't really drive either" I hesitated.

We made it to a very nice large hotel that we were going to stay at. I saw Mackenzie getting out of her car in the parking lot. It was an older-looking dark green convertible Audi with the roof down revealing a tan color inside. Suits her.

Sam helped me bring my bag inside and then left for the venue.

"KATHRINE MY BABY YOUVE GROWN UP HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY I MISSED YOU SO MUCH" Mackenzie yelled as she ran to hug me.

"MISSED YOU SO MUCH" I yelled back.

I just love her so much.

"You are going to love tonight's show. Josh has been working on the set list and everything for tonight's show to be perfect. I've known him forever and he's never worked so hard on something. I'm so excited" She said still hugging me.

"Awww I can't wait" I said feeling happy for the first time in the past few months.

"Now onto something more important your new movie. I watched all the other marvel movies in preparation. I'm a pro" Mackenzie said as she went to the elevator with me.

"Did you see it yet?" I asked.

"No I'm seeing it tomorrow I'm forcing Danny, Jake, Josh, and Sam to go with me. I also had them watch all the movies"

"Oh god please tell me what you think of it" I said.

"If your still here tomorrow you should totally come. The movie theater is in this outdoor mall and we are getting dinner there to" She jokingly made puppy dogs eyes.
