Sorry for the last chapter being so short I was just too lazy to write in the whole Covid thing.

ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?- Tyler, The Creator

I was almost 2022 in a few days and I decided to go on vacation by myself to the Caribbean Islands to end the year with fun.

My trip came to an end so I gathered my bags and went to the airport that afternoon. While at the airport my flight kept getting moved around. But it was fine because no matter what it would take off that day. It had changed 3 times before I finally got through security and made it to the terminal.

It wasn't till I made my way to B-3 that I froze. Sitting there in the seats in the mix of people was 4 boys.

Daniel Wanger.

Jake Kiszka.

Sam Kiszka.

Josh Kiszka.

Why.

Things got way worse when an announcement came over the speakers.

"There are multiply tropical storms that are said to hit us shortly so for safety precautions people will not be allowed to exit the building. This also means no flights will be able to take off till the storms have fully passed.

Fuck.

I walked up to a seat when I saw Josh looking over at me and heard Sam say my name.

"Kathrine!" Sam jumped up and gave me a big hug.

"Hello! It's crazy seeing you guys all here at the same time" I joked.

"Yeah, you want to sit with us I mean we'll be here for a while?" he offered.

I agreed and sat in the only open seat which was next to Josh.

After a few hours passed we got bagels and soup as dinner. The five of us moved everything over to the comfy couch and chairs that were now open. Josh and I shared the couch while the rest was in the chairs. And all huddled around Danny's laptop to watch a movie. By the time it ended, it was almost 11. The lights in the seating areas dimmed and the music stopped. Most people had started to fall asleep like Jake, Danny, and Sam. But I was wide awake.

"I'll be right back" I got up and started walking. I could feel Josh watching me quietly as I went away.

I found a large window with seating to look out and sat there. The rain began to come down hard. I could hear it beating on the glass. Just me and the rain. I was brought back to reality when I noticed someone walking up to the other end of the window.

Josh.

"Pretty isn't it, even though it's rain" he sat down on the opposite end of the couch and looked out with me.

I wasn't in the mood to talk.

"You don't have to forgive me but I'm sorry," he said turning to look at me. I quickly glanced at him. He looked different.

His hair grew out a little bit. It was in loose longer curls. He now had facial hair which made him look older than before. Even with the dim lights, I could see that he had gotten lots of sun. And since 2019 his voice had become a little lower.
