New Year's Day- Taylor Swift

January rolled around and it is now 2020. I expected to have so much fun this year.

I had multiple movies that were going to come out. And many that we're in the middle of filming. Harry had also planned a tour that I would travel with him everywhere.But sadly like everyone else plans had to be canceled.

Covid hit.

It wasn't too bad at first with only a few people getting sick. Luckily, before New York basically shut down I brought Frannie, my cats, and most of my belongings to Hawaii. It was nice waking up every morning to the beach with my best friend. We stayed there till New York cleared up. Eventually we moved back. I love my hometown but the city is just so full of life.

Sadly most all events also got canceled so no met gala this year. It was one of my favorite things to go to. And the fashion weeks happened but I had to watch it all online.

Everything became online. I lost connection with people and myself.

It was just Frannie the cats and me. At the end of 2020, Frannie did get a dog it is one of those Chinese crested dogs with barely any hair. Looks like a fuzzy ball sack. It's hideous. His name is Franklin we call in Frank. Frannie and Frank.

Harry also started to go out with someone. Her name is Olivia. She was the one that made the movie Booksmart I was in. She also cast me as the lead role in a new movie called Don't Worry Darling.

Dating and men weren't in the picture for a while. I took this time to decide what I really want in a relationship. A few times my mind wandered to Josh. I would stalk Mia's Instagram and one day every post with Josh was deleted.

Lol.

New Year finally happened and it was now 2021. Hopefully, this year would get better.

Harry announced he would be going on tour this year. He invited me to go with him to all of the New York shows, and how could I say no to that. I had the time of my life dressing up as Juliet's angel costume and the second night as the Mean Girls with Frannie and Devon. I missed going to concerts.Harry dropped a skincare and nail polish brand in the middle of the tour that I am in love with.

Josh was also busy. The band came out with a new album called The Battle at Gardens Gate. It's amazing. They also said they would go on your starting in 2022. I thought about buying tickets.

Most importantly I finally got to have my own Marvel movie. Black Widow came out. I am very proud of myself. I got to play a lead role in Don't Lookup with Leo who is a close friend of my dad's. We also started filming for the new Batman movie, the 2nd season of Euphoria, and a small part in the 4th season of Stranger Things.

Things were going pretty well so far.

It wasn't till around Christmas I went to the coffee shop, to get lunch and do some work when I heard a familiar voice.

A laugh. It almost lit up the room.

I turned around in the chair to see Josh. He was here in the coffee shop I brought him to in 2019. When things were good between us. I would do anything to go back to that crush phase.

I still never got back to him about that text.

I should get up and say hello to him and try to fix things. But I didn't I decided to get up and walk out.

He most likely moved on and forgot about me. After that day he started to slowly crawl back into my mind.

Again around Christmas I saw a Kiszka. It was during the holidays in New York when I bumped into Jake. I was walking through the grocery store when it happened.

"Jake?"

"Oh my god Kathrine it's been forever" Jake said as he walked up to me.

"What are you doing in New York?" I asked.

"We have family here and wanted to visit for Christmas, I mean spending it here is honestly magical" Jake joked.

"Yes it is, I heard it is going to snow tonight and I'm so excited"

"Hey, so next year in March we are going on tour again, and would you like to come to at least one of our shows?" he said changing the conversation.

"I thought about it for when tickets come out but I don't know if I'm exactly welcome to be there you know"

"Don't worry we miss you" he reassured. "He's talking about you still by the way"

"What does he say"

"He thought about calling you many times, inviting you to concerts, bringing you to Texas, right lyrics about you, and all that other stuff"

"Is he in New York too?"

"Yes, you should meet up" Jake offered.

I never asked to meet up with Josh.
