What A Lovely Mess

Day 4

The group had since left the residence, they now stumble through the eerily silent streets of Arkansans.

The wind felt colder than most today, every so often a soft rain began to fall from the sky, it irritated the group as they'd then have to walk whilst being soaked.

"This is dumb" Pisces stopped in her tracks.
"Pisces, shut up" Leo whispered pointing at a small group of the dead stood on the street corner, Pisces rolled her eyes and raised her ax walking over to them, 

"What is this twat doing- there's like five of them" Finley shook his head. Taking out his machete.

"Being a fucking idiot, that's what" Leo groaned taking out his own axe his axe had a wielded spike on top that he'd created late year. Virgo and Aairz stood together while the two rushed over to assist Pisces.

Pisces raised her ax and swung it, taking out one of the dead in a single hit, one that crawled on the floor reaching for her ankle yet before it got the chance to bite her. She sang the ax down, bashing its brain across the sidewalk.

"Jesus Pisces- you got some unsolved-" Leo grunted as he brought his ax into a Z's head "-issues" he finished with a pant; he looked over to Finley who just sliced his machete into one of the dead heads.

"Yeah- the hell's up with you" Finley shook his head, taking out a cloth and wiping down his machete.

"We're dragging our asses to another country from some kid that doesn't mean shit to us" Pisces grunted, pulling her ax out of the head of a dead woman she'd killed.

"Pisces we've gone over this, it's a good opportunity for us" Leo smiled twirling his ax.

"But itsn't worth it, there's five of us now, more mouths to feed, needing a bigger vehicle, there's so many factors to it" Pisces sighed.

"We'll Work through it like we always have done"

"It's different now, it isn't just the 3 of us."

"Just chill out, and stop going after such big groups of the dead you're gonna get yourself killed" Finley muttered before walking back to Virgo and Aariz.

"Me dying to the dead, more likely you princess" Pisces yelled out after him

"Watch it" Leo almost growled.

"Whatever leo, just cuz he's your favorite" Pisces Huff began to walk back

"Favorites? I don't have favorites"

"Whatever you say loverboy" she rolled her eyes, leaving Leo with the five corpses on the ground.

After all Pisces wasn't completely wrong, as much as Leo tried to deny it to himself and the others it was extremely clear that he had a closeness when it came to finley, a higher liking is such.

It has always been like that, since they met, even back in the days with no Z's. There were always those unspoken feelings, heart feeling emotions between them both. Everybody could see it, from friends to family and even people on the streets noticed the two's fondness of each other.

When the apocalypse struck, Leo subconsciously distinct himself from his two friends, maybe it was due to him watching somebody held so close to his heart die in front of him, something he's been blaming himself for years something he couldn't dare speak about no matter how much it plagued and taunted him.

Finely New what to say and what to do whenever Leo doubted himself, even when he acted sour towards Finley, finley always provided that sweetness he needed.

"Leo you coming?" Aairz called out

Leo looked up from the bodies on the floor he must have zoned out "Yeah sorry"

Eventually he caught up with the group and they continued to walk, inevitably reaching a harbor.

"There ain't a single dang boat" Pisces shook her head looking out the harbor

"There's one but it's completely done for it's got a massive hole in the and the mast is damaged beyond repair" Virgo said, pointing out the broken parts of the small sailboat that rode up the dock slightly.

"How do you know so much about boats?" Finley smiled. He wanted to get to know the new girl; she seemed friendly.

"My Dad loved boats. I grew up around them. He always thought I'd be some big sailor until I told him I wanted to become a cameraman." Virgo smiled, remembering her past that felt so distant from the current moment.

"Yeah I worked for a big girl called Sagittarius she did something called YouTube she was a kind human"

"You work for Sagittarius, no shit dude!" Leo beam, the name she thought he'd never hear again.

"Oh you know her? I only been working there 3 weeks before everything you know it happened mid recording"

"Yeah Finley and her did a few collapse together"

"You are a creator"

"Mhm Not_Finley or ItsBaconBits202"

"I knew you looked familiar" Virgo's giggled "I can't believe I didn't realize"

"Don't worry about it it's been 3 years, I think everyone has bigger concerns than remembering some Minecraft youtubers from Pre-Z"

Leo twirled his ax and walked off jumping into a wall then down the ground below

"We're we off to" Aariz asked

Pisces shrugged "looked like we're exploring, he's like an over excited dog" adjusting her ponytail slightly before walking into a shop window tapping the glass a single z jumped up at it from inside she opened the window letting it out before swinging her ax to hit its head killing it.

Finley however snuck off to find Leo
