"Demon Knuckles. Someone is messing with you're emerald." I told him

"Knuckles EXE. Also I know. But we had Shadow EXE check Eggual when this shit started and he has no idea." Knuckles EXE the demonic echidna told me.

I nodded and then I remembered something.

It was during my battle with Eggman. The last one I had before coming here.

At the end Egghead had screamed something about "Just you wait! You stupid hedgehog! Once I control the nightmare dimension you won't stand a chance!"

I understood now.

My eggman was fucking with the EXEs.

Shit!

"Knuckles EXE. You gotta bring me to Shadow EXE!" I shouted at the demonic echidna

Knuckles EXE's eyes widened. "You know what the problem is?"

"I have a good idea." I nodded.

And then we were suddenly back in town.

I immediately ran and hopped on the podium.

I then screamed bloody murder into the mic and everyone appeared.

Hell, even Silver the Werehog and Blaze EXE appeared.

I took a deep breath now that I got everyone's attention and I spoke.

"EVERYONE LISTEN UP!" I hollered

Everyone merely stared at me. Good I had their attention.

"I NEED TO GO HOME! MY EGGMAN IS SCREWING WITH YOUR EMERALD AND IN ORDER TO STOP HIM I MUST DEFEAT HIM!" I yelled.

Everyone stood stock still for a moment and then they all started disappearing.

Fuck

"Shadow EXE! DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT ME!" I shrieked while landing on him.

He stared at me for a moment and then he took off all four rings and literally tore a portal through space and time.

Then he jumped through with me on his shoulders.

We landed in the middle of Eggman's base and the place was a absolute shitshow.

Eggman had apparently found a way to down the EXEs and was using it to his full advantage.

I immediately launched myself at eggman but he shot me and.. That tainted power took over me but without the nightmare energy.

I turned into dark sonic and I lost my shit.

When I came to Metal Sonic had apparently showed up to try to stop me and from the looks of it.. I had fucked him up.

I felt so.. weak..

Behind me Eggman was shaking with a rifle.

I glared at him.

"That's the cure ain't it?" I growled.

I saw Shadow EXE weakly stand up behind him.

I didn't say a word as the Slenderhog lunged at Eggman with a weak growl and grabbed the rifle.

I made a dash and threw myself at eggman.

"Shoot yourself! It's the cure!" I yelled at him.

Shadow EXE nodded and then placed it down aimed it up at his neck and shot himself.
