Mistrust

I got a bad draw. Seven cards variety colored. One skip. I mean.. The game went well but.. I got creamed like no tomorrow. Actually to my shock out of all of us in the circle it was actually Fleetway that won, but then again.. I was cheering him on. Maybe my goodluck rubbed off on him.

"Good game but.. If I remember correctly someone was supposed to be making me chili dogs." Fleetway reminded me and I dashed to the kitchen.

The meat was thawed now and I smiled as I made the chili dogs.

Ah.. Was I glad to be home..

It was honestly kind of a shame that I would have to leave so soon.

I finished all four chili dogs and then I went into the living room.

"Fleet! Here's your two!" I told Fleetway happily before sitting down with my two.

"Thanks Sonic." Fleetway smiled before eating his.

I nodded and then ate mine.

"Alright! I got the coordinates for the eggman base!" Tails called as he walked in and everyone turned their heads to him.

I beamed and stood up.

"Awesome Tails! Good job buddy!" I told him before taking the paper he was holding.

It was a map of Green Hills with a red circle where Eggman's hideout should be.

"Also check the back." Tails told me.

I nodded and flipped it over and low and behold. There was a map of the place on the back.

Sweet!

"Good job Tails." I told my two tailed partner.

Tails smiled and then everyone started crowding to look at the map.

I snorted but Tails was frozen to the spot.

I sighed before giving Shadow EXE the map and grabbing Tails and bringing him to my room.

And Shadow, who I had completely forgotten was even here, followed us.

"Alright, Sonic. Where the heck did you get these weirdo's?" Tails asked me with a pointed glare.

"The nightmare dimension, I kinda fell into a portal and I ended up there. That's not the issue though. The issue is, is that their world is under attack by one of Eggman's machines and they need our help!!" I told Tails worriedly

Tails groaned.

And then the front door slammed open.

Fuck.

I quickly ran to go check it out with Tails and Shadow at my heels.

Amy had her hammer out and was literally glaring at all the EXE's who were all once again a pack of fangs and claws.

I groaned loud enough to get everyone's attention and then I went to stand between Amy and the EXE's

"EXEs', Amy calm down." I told them all.

"SONIC! YOU WERE IN THE HOSPITAL AND YOU JUST!" Amy shrieked.

"I know! I have to save the EXE's world Amy! They are literally about to lose their emeralds!" I told Amy with an exasperated voice.

Seriously! How many times was I going to have to repeat myself?

Amy calmed down alittle bit.

"The EXE's?" She questioned me.

I nodded and gestured to them.

Amy really looked at them this time and then she suddenly shuddered.

"Exactly what I thought." Tails huffed.

Shadow just shrugged.

I frowned though.

"Guys they aren't that bad." I told my friends.

Tails and Shadow both stared at me like I was insane.

"What?" I snapped.

"Everytime they get even remotely surprised they turn into literal demons." Shadow exclaimed.

I crossed my arms.

"And? They still need our help." I told Shadow.

Amy cut in. "Sonic.. Aren't you scared? They seem.. Dangerous."

I growled. "They're my friends."

Amy, Shadow and Tails all sighed.

I just turned my back and went back to my room to go grab my emerald before returning to the EXE's

"Let's go guys." I told them before chaos controlling.
