i was sitting on the bed scrolling through my phone until i heard the door open to me and colby's room.
colby came in with a stressful face, i didn't hesitate to put my arms out inviting him to come and cuddle me.
he walked over to me and put his head on my shoulder fiddling with my shirt.
"sing to me please" colby said looking up at me, "of course baby" i said sweetly.
i rubbed his forehead softly trying to relieve the stress more before i started to sing.
"when rain drops fell, down from the sky." i sang softly. i felt colby's body relax into me while he was listening to me sing.
"the day you left me, an angel cried" i continued, "oh, she cried. an angel cried." i ended the song and colby was sleeping like a baby.
i lent down to kiss his forehead and took a nap with him.
