Wonderland

chapter three

In the Water Kingdom, little Hongjoong was asleep in his crib. His mother looked at him.

"You my son, will accomplish so much in your life." She looked at Hongjoong with so much love. His father was at sea, checking in on the colonies that lived on the islands.

The messenger boy for the water kingdom came in. Calm cool and collected, unlike the fire Kingdom messenger.

" My lady." He said with a graceful bow.

" What's the news, child?" She asked. She was soft spoken with everyone.

" The fire kingdom, has welcomed a daughter. Born on the twenty third day of July of the current year.

This shocked the Queen. He son was to marry a Leo. One that is ruled by the sun? " Thank you child. Please return to your duties." She told him.

Once he left she looked again at Hongjoong. " Why Morrígan did you give my son a Leo to marry?" She asked out loud.

" Because your family and the fire family needs to understand." Said Morrígan.

The Queen turned her head and stared at the goddess.  She quickly got to her knees and bowed to the goddess.
" Forgive me, I didn't know you would come to me?" Said the Queen. She was now scared that she disrespected the goddess.

"Rise child, no need to formalities. I came to you to explain."

The queen raised her head but kept knelling.

" Over a thousand years ago the King's fought for what? Power? Land? No, they fought because they wanted too. Some men are stupid. They fight to see who is bigger. Better.  Yes they did get land and power. But what I want for your son and the daughter of the fire kingdom, is to unite all the kingdoms. And what better way way than water and fire.  A Leo and a Scropio. Though they will not be alone. I believe the air kingdom has also welcomed a son. Trust me on this path that I have given your son."

The Queen was confused by what the goddess had said. " I will trust you goddess. I will no longer doubt you." She couldn't. She looked at her son and swore to him that she would be there for him. When the queen looked back at Morrígan, the goddess was gone.

The queen looked around and saw only her and Hongjoong in the throne room. Than it hit her what Morrígan had said the air kingdom has a son!

She yelled for the messenger boy to come in. The boys ran to his Queen.
" Yes my lady?" He asked worried.

" What news from the Kingdom of Air?" She asked. The boy looked confused.

"Nothing has come from them?"

" Than take a solider with you and find out!" She scared the boy. In all his years, the queen never yelled.

With a quick bow " yes my queen!" And off he went.

If it's true what Morrígan had said than what of the earth kingdom.
