A Hero is Born (Part 4) /edited/

(Hi! I'm so sorry part 4 took longer! I was busy with some personal things but its all goof for now. Thank you so so so much for waiting)

Mk woke up while being poked in the face bye a monkey but was soon swarmed with monkeys attacking him. He angrily and carelessly threw the monkeys off him as they ran away. After catching his breath he was able to look at his surroundings "Woah. Flower Fruit Mountain". He suddenly heard a groan and looked down to see (Name) still asleep "Ah! (Name)!" Mk cried out worried for his friend. "Don't die (Name) we never got to get married" Mk cried while shaking (Name) by their shoulders witch caused (Name) to wake up. "Ah! It's not my rat" (Name) said shakily, Mk stopped shaking the poor thing and swooped them into a hug "(Name)! Thank god I thought you were dead!" Mk said as (Name) tried to get out of the hug of death.

(Time skip to when they're behind the waterfall because I can't write)

"Hello? Helllloooo?" Mk cried out as he and (Name) walked a cross a bridge stopping at a wall with a painting on it. "Wow" Mk and (Name) said as they admired the artwork. "Hey! That's the Monkie King!" Mk said as he grabbed (Name's) arm "Ya I have eye's Mk I know" (Name) said while chuckling. Suddenly Mk started panicking "What!? What's happening!? Ah, what's wrong with my eyes?!" Mk said as he looked around. "Umm.. Mk you okay buddy?" (Name) said confused, Mk was looking around talking about Monkey King's life like he could see it. (Name) just watched her friend worried that their friend ate something they shouldn't have.

(Small time skip to Mk and (Name) being at Monkey Kings home)

"Monkey King?" Mk called out as his voice echoed against the cave walls. "Ugh!" Mk said as he kicked a rock. (Name) put their hand on his shoulder as they both sat down, "For a moment there, I thought.." Mk started but he sighed and buried his head into his arms "Mr Tang was right. I really am delusional.." (Name) looked at him sad for the poor boy. "Hey.. so the Monkey King isn't here but there's a house he probably was, that means he's still out there" (Name) said trying to help Mk. Mk looked at (Name) and smiled warmly, he knew they were just as disappointed but he appreciated them trying to help, it's one of the things he loves about them.

A butterfly landed on (Name's) arm as Mk and (Name) stared at it. "Sup" The butterfly said, both friend's stood up in shock as (Name) shrieked as Mk threw the butterfly off. "Yes, yes it is I, the Monkey-" The butterfly tried to say but was squashed by Mk's foot, "MK!" (Name) shouted, ya it was just a butterfly but last they checked most don't speak. "Is it dead" Mk asked as (Name) picked up the butterfly gently "Awwww poor little guy" (Name) said. All of a sudden the butterfly started to transform into a golden light as (Name) and Mk watched in amazement. After turning into several animals it turned into..... The monkey king!?

"M-M-M-Monkey King" Mk said as (Name) clutched onto his arm shakily."Yeah, the one and only" Monkey King said eyeing (Name) but then turned to Mk. "So, where's my staff?" He said, "Oooo..." (Name) cringed remembering that Mrs Iron Lady took it. Mk bowed to Monkey king while crying "WE'RE SO SORRYYYYY" Mk cried out, "We tried to bring it to you (Name) said while trying to comfort Mk. "But when we got here Princess Iron Fan came and took it. She's got this glove-" (Name) rambled until Monkey King came up to them. "I know, I know peaches" He chuckled, ruffling (Name's) hair "Peaches?" (Name) said confused but a little bit flattered by the nickname. "Look I'm gonna come clean" He said while giggling "Um, I've been kinda watching the two of you". "Wait what!? That was you!?" (Name) and Mk said "HA! The look on your faces! You're perfect!" Monkey King said as he pointed a bamboo stick at Mk. "Perfect for what?" Mk said as (Name) raised a brow. "To be.. my successor!" Monkey King said dramatically as he pointed at Mk

"Uhhh... are you sure you're the Monkey King" (Name) said pulling on Monkey King's cheeks while he blushed at the sudden closeness. "Ya I think you've been cooped up in here way too long" Mk said as he walked up to pull (Name) away. Monkey King grabbed (Name) with his tail and sat them down next to Mk, "Listen, Peaches. You both fought demons. And you didn't die. And you guys made it here." He said pulling out a bag of chips "Not just anyone can lift my staff, but you did" He said pointing to Mk while eating.

"But what about DBK?" Mk said as he clutched onto (Name) again. "Pfft, ha! What about DBK? You guys can handle it. Consider it a trial" Wukong said as he laid back on a makeshift cloud. "But we.." Mk said but then he sighed as (Name) looked at Wukong silently pleading him to help. Wukong sighed giving into (Name's) puppy dog eyes. He walked up to the two "Look if you can life the staff you can use it." He putting a hand on Mk's shoulder, "Just believe in yourself. Even a smidge makes all the difference." Wukong said as Mk smiled at him thankful for his help. "The staff was taken from you. Take it back." Wukong said as (Name) looked at Mk with a determined smile. Mk chuckled at his friend's eagerness "Haha, All right" He said as the two walked off.

"How are we supposed to get back!?" Mk cried out as (Name) facepalmed at their stupidity. Then the two heard a clatter and turned around. It was a crate from Sandy's ship. A monkey was jumping on it as the other monkeys watched. The crate door fell scaring off the monkeys while (Name) and Mk covered their faces from the sand. "Pleh! I got sand in my mouth" (Name) whined like a child as they spit out the sand as Mk whipped off the remaining sand of of his friend. A vehicle suddenly caught their attention, it was big, red, and beautiful! 'Ohohoho, Yeah!" Mk cheered as they hopped in. Unfortunately there wasn't enough room so (Name) had to sit on Mk's lap, he didn't mind thankfully. "Uhhh" Mk said confused by all the controls. "Hmmmmm" (Name) said "I'ma push it" (Name) said, "I mean I guess you can, it can't be that hard to fly" Mk said a bit nervous about his friend's flying experience. "Bap" (Name) said as they pushed a button witch got the plane to shoot off.

"Woo hoo!" Mk and (Name) yelled as they flew back to the city.

(Annndd that's part 4, again sorry that this one took longer. I'm gonna try to put out chapter more often.)
