Madeline was in the admits of packing and ensuring she was leaving everything as tidy as she possible could. Lando walks back in with Carlos stood by the doorway. "They said to give it a few minutes and the doctor will be in" Madeline turns round and smiles. "Oh goodie" Carlos steps in and takes the bag off of her. "Madeline..." Lando begins to say. "Don't say it, I am fine, I am just very hungry right now" Madeline walks over and gives him a small nudge in a friendly manner to let him know that she is ok.
Lando's thoughts were racing, he had so much he wanted to say but the words to find what he wanted to say was always falling short as he stringing them together. "Food that is something, I can do " Lando said. He instantly wish he didn't say a thing in the precise moment, as Carlos's smile made him want to curl up in a ball. "Like I can't cook cook, but we can go somewhere if you'd like?" Madeline's side of her lips begin to curl into a smile. Carlos who is behind her begins to nod slowly, trying to egg him on to say it.
"I mean a takeaway? Maccies trip on the way back?" Lando suggested. Madeline's smile fades just a little as she nods, almost disappointed that it wasnt what she thought he was going to say, but then what was she thinking, why would he want to take her somewhere like a restaurant for?. "That sounds, wonderful, thank you" Carlos then shakes his head disapproving. The Doctor comes in and asks the boys to step outside while he does his last check over Madeline before release. "Maccies trip on the way back, smooth Lando, Smooth" Carlos says as he starts to laugh at the mess Lando has caused himself. "I mean the fact she looked disappointed it wasnt anything more then a drive thru, shows that she at least likes you" Lando looks back through the door to see Madelines speaking. "You think so?" Carlos shakes his head.
