When I'm now drying my hair when I hear the doorbell, I check my watch to see it's only 7:45, so whoever that is, they're 15 minutes earlier. I put my hair in a messy bun and go to open the door, before I can see who it is I am tackled to the ground then hit multiple times in the head
"You idiot how do you let the Avengers catch you?!" I hear them say and I automatically know who it is
"Good to see you too Kate," I say as she stops hitting me and give her a toothy grin knowing she can't stay mad at me
"Yeah, whatever. And what's this I hear about the Avengers coming over for a 'party'?" She asked me not getting off me
"Yeah it's so I can meet the whole team," I tell her with a shrug
"Why would you need to meet the Whole team? Are you joining the Avengers!?" She yells a little too loud for my liking
"They think I'm joining and I might, but it's only a ten percent chance I will" I informed her, and smiled at me
"Good, you had me worried for a second, anyway- "Hey!! Oh, are we interrupting something?" Tony says from the doorway and I jump up causing Kate to fall on the floor
"No. No your not, come on in" I say motioning inside and they all walk-in
"Go down those stairs and we will be down in a sec," I tell them and they all disappear downstairs
"Gonna help me up, idiot?" Kate says holding a hand out for me to grab, but instead of me helping her up she pulls me down and I land on her, and she groans
"Yeah I'm the idiot, get up and let's go," I say getting myself up and taking the time to fully look at her appearance, she's in an all-black suit, and half her hair is pulled back
"You clean up nice kid," I say giving her a smirk and go to walk downstairs and get hit in the back of my head
"OWWW!" I yell and she walks ahead of me going down stairs
"That's what you get loser," Kate says over her shoulder and disappears downstairs. I make my way to the basement
