Small suprise

Y/n's POV

Nat has been asleep for a good hour now so I can finally sneak out the room and do what I need to do.

Now you may be asking what do I need to do. What I need to do is figure out what is essential for my pregnant Nat and our baby.

That's why I am in my car on my way to hood old Walmart. Don't ask it's the only store open this late that sells the stuff I need.

I arrived at Walmart and walk in and head to the baby section, with a basket of course.

"Shit I forgot we don't even know the gender yet" I say out loud hitting myself in the forehead.

I look around and grad all the different sized diapers they had, and I grabbed a lot. I was looking at the cribs and realized it was better if I just mad my own. I grabbed a stroller that was black and red, the headed to self check out. Once everything was paid for I went to one of my cabins know it has some spare wool I can use for the crib. I realized I forgot some room decor from Walmart, so I go back and get the things I forgot.

I finally got back to the compound and look for Tony knowing he's still up at this time of night (12:00am). After a little while I find him in his lab,

"Hey Tinman" I greet him as he works on yet another project

"What are you doing up?" He asks ignoring the nickname

"I'm gonna use that spare room next to mine for a nursery, and I'm gonna use you lab for a bit" I say then leave and grab all the wood and head back to the lab.

"What's with the wood?" Tony questions and I just ignore him and get started on the crib. I won't to add a baby monitor on it and all that fancy stuff including a night light and that little hanging thingy with the animals on it but instead of animals I'm gonna add a wolf and all the Avenger's symbols.

4 hours later

With the help of Tony and some elbow grease, I finally finished the crib, I even painted it a soft grey and engraved Natasha's last name on it. I take it to the room along with the other stuff.

After another two hours I decorated the room slightly and put all the diapers in the closet and painted the walls a really light grey to go with the crib. Let hope Nat likes it.

I check the time and it's 6:27am so Nat should be waking up soon. I head down to the kitchen and make some breakfast for everyone. Todays gonna be a good day I can feel it.

"Y/n? Why are you up so early?" I hear Wanda say from behind me making me jump slightly

"Jesus Wands, you can't just sneak up on people" I say breathing heavily

"That doesn't answer my question" she says starting a pot of coffee

"One, I'm making breakfast and Two, follow me" I say putting the eggs on low and quickly popping the bacon into the oven.

I lead her to the nursery I set up not to long ago and she just gasps

"Shhh, Nats sleeping you idiot" I hush her and she apologizes quietly

"It's beautiful Y/n" she whispers and it feels good to know someone likes it

"Thank you, now if you don't mind I have breakfast to make" I say and go back to the kitchen to finish up breakfast.

7:43am

Everyone should be waking up any minute now. And just then people start entering the kitchen one by one.

"Y/n" I hear Nats voice as she enters the kitchen

"Hey baby, there's breakfast on the counter" I say and hand her a cup of coffee

"Thank you" she says softly and sips her coffee and then makes herself a plate and sits down with the rest of the Team except for Tony who's still asleep. I make my cup of coffee and join the rest at the table.

"So Y/n when are you gonna show her?" Wanda asked catching everyone's attention. Of course she would say something

"Show who? What?" Natasha ask dropping her fork on her plate

"I'll show everyone after everyone's done eating" I explained and she seems to accept that answer along with everyone else.

Once everyone's done eating and the kitchen and dining room are cleaned I lead everyone to the nursery.

"Alright Nat why don't you do the honers of opening the door" I say with a smile and the team seems confused

"If this is some prank-

"Just open the door please" I say cutting off her sentence. She listens and opens the door and is shocked to see a nursery behind the door.

"Did you do all this?" She asks not being able to stop the smile from showing on her face as she enters the room and looks around

"Well I had the help of Tony" I say

"Wow look at you go" Steve says with a proud smile on his face

"Oh shut up Steven I'm way older then you so I don't wanna hear it" I say jokingly

"Well you didn't do too bad" Clint says and it means a lot especially since he's a dad

"Thanks Robin Hood" i replied causing him to shake his head with a slight smile

"Who knew Y/n could be mature" Bucky says earning a glare from me, I look back in the room to see Nat looking at the crib, I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist

"This is perfect" she says and turns around in my arms

"Well it's the least I could do considering you're gonna hold our baby for 9 months" I joke getting me a slap in the chest and a beautiful sound of laughter from Natasha

"You know you could have added your last name aswell and not just mine" she say and I shrug

"Well when and if we get married I'm totally taking you last name 100%" I say and she laughs

"Y/n Romanoff" she says with a huge smile on her face

"Yup, and our not so soon to be baby Romanoff" I add, wait should we think about names now or later??

"Do I ever tell you how much I love you?" She asked

"Every chance you get" I say and lean down to give her a kiss. That kiss right there was so deep and passionate I almost got down on one knee and married her right then and there

"Let's go buy ice cream and watch movies and cuddle all day" I offer and she nods, I turn around and notice the teams gone

"When did they leave?" Nat asked and I just shrug.

And after that we did what we said we were gonna do, we got ice cream and just cuddled and watched movies all day.

See I knew today was gonna be a good day.
