Y/N'S POV:

"Why are we outside a school?" Le Chat questions. Him and I sit on the curb at the entrance of a high school.

"This is Mouth's school, Squints from my universe." I explain. Fog fills the air from the odd climate here.

"Ah yes, the tiny one with glasses." He nods.

"Yeah, him. He looks a bit different now. He has long hair, no glasses to hide his clear eyes, and he's just as tall as me, if not more." I describe Mouth the way I last saw him, trying to leave out a major detail.

He's hot now.

"Are you two friends here as well or is it a similar relationship to Luis?" He nudges me with his tail as if insinuating something.

"What do you mean by a similar relationship?" I curve my eyebrows. He is interrupted by the bell just as he was about to tell me what he meant.

Kids rush out of the school going past us. We stand up and wait to see Mouth coming out of his class.

"Y/N!" He shouts as he walks up to me. Joey and Book follow along.

"Hi Mouth." I say happy to see him. In a green sweater and a hat, he reaches his hand to shake mine.

"You go to this school?" He asks thinking that I just got out like him.

"Oh no, I uhm go to another one. I just came here to see you."

He freezes again, his jaw hanging open. Joey and Book also seem taken back by my response.

"You came here to see me?" Mouth yells in shock. I didn't think he'd be that surprised.

"Yeah, I want to walk home with you guys." I say.

"Oh well I'm going to stay here and wait for my mom. I have an exam today." Book states sadly.

"Hey Ruben!" A man suddenly comes behind him. "I'm glad I caught you." Book turns around to face the man who hands him a paper. The man goes away as Book reads the piece of paper.

I stared down at Le Chat Sage and I knew he also didn't know what was going on. Le Chat acts like a cat once again and says nothing.

"My mom..she can't pick me up." He informs us.

"She's probably getting her mustache waxed." Mouth jokes with a shrug. I smile at his comment. He catches me doing so and blushes.
