I was now out on my search for Batman. I need someone to vent to that wasn't Bruce so Batman was my next option as he was my closest thing to a friend. The taxi driver, Lorenzo, was my friend but I didn't want to vent with him since he already had a lot of stress.

I walked around aimlessly until I noticed a crime being committed. It was an older woman being robbed by someone. I took a closer look wondering when the police or Batman would appear but neither happened. I couldn't stand back and let this happen but I saw something strange.

The guy attacking her was the security guard that had been holding me captive previously. I still needed some answers so maybe if I could just knock him out somehow.

In the nick of time I saw a woman appear on a motorcycle. She wore a black latex looking suit along with a mask. The clothing was all black and the mask had cat ears on the top of it. She looked really hot but I was worried if she knew what she was getting herself into.

She walked to the guy and beat the crap out of him. It was impressive how overpoweringly strong she was. The woman dressed as a cat picked up the purse and gave it back to the old lady.

The old woman thanked her vigorously. The cat looking lady picked some money off of the guy and drove off on her motorcycle. It made me wonder if there was more than one vigilante running around Gotham.

I followed around the older woman making sure she made it back to her place safely. After that I went back and sat down on the bench I was at previously. I decided if I couldn't find him he could find me.

And so I waited and waited while perverted people walked past me with the occasional "How much are you?" question being asked at me. I didn't know if I should give up looking because it was possible Bruce was gonna be worrying about me.

I walked over but I had realised I was in front of Penguin's club again. The obnoxious flashing sign glared down on me as it read "The Iceberg Lounge". I didn't know if I was desperate enough to ask the Penguin to help me find Batman.

As I stood in front of the door a young woman with short red hair spoke. "Excuse me can I get in there?" She asked pointing towards the door I was blocking.

       "Oh sorry." I respond nervously.

She spoke back kindly "Don't worry about it. By the way are you new to Gotham you look a little loss, or are you looking for someone?"

"No I was just spaced out," I stop talking and let her by before continuing, "Actually I am looking for the Penguin. Do you know where I can find him?"

She stopped for a second with her hand still resting on the handle of the door. The red haired woman stared at me to see if I looked trustworthy. At least those were the vibes she gave off.

She began speaking "Yeah he should be upstairs in his office."

"Thank you," I spewed out from my mouth, "by the way I never caught your name. I'm y/n."

"I'm called," she stopped speaking almost as if she was trying to recall her name, "Sel."

She then turned around and went inside leaving me standing by myself in front of The Iceberg Lounge. I contemplated whether I should go inside or not. Sure I was worried for Batman and wanted to find him, but this was also very reckless. I could be putting myself in danger.

I mustered up the courage to walk into the overly packed nightclub. When I walked in a stench of body odor was dragged into my nostrils. Along with bright flashing lights and music that was so loud your eardrums felt like they were going to explode.

I saw many women in skimpy outfits rubbing rich old men's chests. Along with attractive young men resting their hands on the thighs of wealthy looking women. I guess everyone here was down to do anything for money but I shouldn't judge because I don't know what position they were in having to try that hard for money.

A ugly looking older man waved his hand covered in jewelry at me. It wasn't the penguin but I thought I could find some information on him just in case I would ever want to help Batman with other people's crimes. It was a thought I had for awhile since I did have a small crush on him and we could spend more time together. Although I felt really guilty because I loved Bruce Wayne.

With my most appealing walk I went over to the man. He looked at me and patted down on his thigh signalling for me to sit on it. What was I about to get myself into I thought sitting down trying not to look uncomfortable. A woman sitting on his other thigh stared at me almost upset as if I was trying to steal 'her man.'

The man began speaking to me "So sweetheart are you new here? I have never seen someone as beautiful as you around here."

I responded with"I am new. I'm kinda shy so if you could help me I would be forever in your debt." I said as if I was a desperate girl in need of help. That way he would take pity on me and I would be able to get information out of him easier.

"Hey hun you look thirsty let me get you something to drink." He said ominously a bad feeling in my stomach arose as he spoke that sentence.

His diamond covered rings sparkled on his hand as he handed me a drink. I never saw him add anything in it but I didn't know if I should drink it.

"Well drink up!" he said looking at me.

What was I about to do? Of course I didn't want to upset him by refusing the drink but I also didn't want to take the chance of being drugged.
