Karl and Y/n found out they had a lot in common. They both were seventeen, both of them liked frogs, and they both loved talking to people. Although Y/n told him much of her past, he seemed quiet about his. All he said was that he wasn't from here, and he is just visiting.

He told Y/n he was looking for something specific at the Smp Museum, something they were putting on display today. She didn't get much out of him about that, all he said was that "It's just something for research," 'but what kind of research,' she would wonder.

As the bus stopped, everyone got up and started walking out. "So, Karl, mind showing me this new exhibit or item?" Y/n asked kindly. He stood up and offered her a hand, which she gladly took. "Sure I guess, but don't call me nerdy or anything." He muttered with a small smile. She nodded in understanding and followed him out the door.

They stopped at the front door of the building, and the adults started explaining the rules, what you can and cannot do, all that fun stuff. Y/n zoned out while listening, coming back into reality when Karl nudged her shoulder. "Come on, we can go in now," he said. Y/n followed him into the large building.

As she walked in, she and Karl gave the front desk their pass, and they walked on and into the exhibits. Karl held a map that showed where everything was. Y/n's eyes widened as she looked around at the different signs that showed different artifacts. Some signs said, "Written Documents," or "Clothing items." Some signs said, "Objects," "Farming," and "Structures."

Karl turned left, leading into a section labeled, "New exhibit." As they walked through the hallway, Karl put his map into his pocket. All around them were maps of different places, with a tablet in front of them, telling the story behind it. At the end of the hallway, the walls widened, making a circular-like room. A few people stood around it, reading what it said on the tablet or taking pictures of the map.

Y/n noticed how Karl's movement picked up slightly, her picking her pace up as well. 'What is so special about this map?' She wondered silently. Karl slowed down and stopped in front of the tablet. He grinned as his eyes read the words sprawled across the screen. He moved aside, letting Y/n have a turn to read it as well.

She read, "This map was hidden in the ruins of an old house. It was tucked away under a floorboard, with a message that read, 'You will find the first clue where the traitor struck. You will find the second clue where the flag was burnt. You will find the third clue in the place that was blown up first.' The rest of the parchment was ripped off by an unknown cause, one of which we still do not know of.

Then there is the map. There are several places marked with an X, but other than that, it's a normal map. But, on the back of the map, there were three lines of text scribbled down.

𝒯𝒽𝓇𝑒𝑒 𝒻𝑒𝑒𝓉,

 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉,

 𝓈𝒾𝓍 𝒻𝑒𝑒𝓉 𝒹𝑜𝓌𝓃,

 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒,

Nothing more or less. Just these words that lead one to confusion."

She finished, looking back up at Karl, who was gazing at the map in awe. Y/n walked up next to him and took her phone out. Karl glanced at her phone and he muttered in frustration. "What is it?" Y/n asked calmly. He sighed.

"Well, you see, I went to a shop to buy one of those..." He seemed to go deep into thought, as though trying to remember something. "Phones?" Y/n asked. He nodded with an embarrassed smile. "Yes, yes, a phone, and I tried buying it for two gold ingots. They were silent so I added a third. Then, they asked me to leave the building."
