IM NOT DEAD!

Y/n carried the baskets up to the attic, somehow managing not to fall on her butt. She placed the items down gently, putting the trash bag in the corner. She planned to have three separate piles of junk. One: stuff that she could sell. Two: stuff that she could keep. Three: stuff that was worthless and to throw away. She huffed, staring at the small baskets and the large trash bag.

In all honesty, she didn't want to throw anything away. She glanced to her right, seeing the messy, dusty table. She decided to go through the items on it first. Y/n walked over to the table, first picking up and flipping through the papers. She found nothing interesting, all of them boring her immediately. She didn't think twice about throwing them into the trash bag.

The only things that were left on the table were a few small boxes, which immediately sparked Y/n's interest. She immediately grabbed the four boxes and sat on the ground, brushing off the dust. Two ones, in particular, were rather long, but she decided to save those for last. Another one was more square-shaped and by far the biggest container in front of her. The last one was small, and... well- small.

She opened the smallest one first, having to knock it a few times for it to open fully. She immediately saw small circular disks, that looked a lot like music disks. they were covered in fabric, as though someone put a lot of effort into keeping them safe, ensuring they wouldn't break. Carefully, she took one of the disks out of the small box.

The inner rim was green, and shiny, as though recently polished. Though that wasn't true, she wanted it to stay that way. Putting the disk back and closing the box, she put it safely in the keep crate. Next, she opened the largest box. Y/n was greeted by multiple things, but one, in particular, caught her gaze. It was a belt. Yes, a belt.

Y/n grabbed the belt and immediately fitted it around her slim waist. It felt perfect, as though it wasn't there at all. It was brown, with squares etched neatly into the leather. She decided to keep and put it in the keep box. The next thing she found was what she guessed was a spyglass. She immediately held it up to her eye, and everything was a whole lot closer. She smirked, putting it in the keep crate.

She looked at the box in front of her, seeing three more items to look at. With closer inspection, it appeared they were three sacks of what appeared to be fake jewels. With a sigh, she put the bags into the keep pile, since she wanted to prank people with them. She looked over at the last two boxes, deciding to wait until she finished.

As the hours went by, Y/n went through old cabinets, finding old clothing, more boxes, and what seemed to be fruit. By hour two, she had filled the trash bag with more papers, some boxes, and anything else she found useless. She put nothing in the sell box.

While cleaning, she found a few things that stood out to her. By far, the most absurd thing she found was a box of explosives labeled 'TNT.' She was tempted to turn them in to the police, but she decided to keep them. The fruit she found differed from size to color, a few were shaped like apples, but they were plated in gold. Three, in particular, shimmered much brighter than the rest.

At hour four, Y/n had sorted everything into different bags or crates, the table had been cleared, and little to no paper littered the floor. The only things she decided to trash were some blank papers and rotted clothing. While searching, she also found a few more storage boxes, some heavy and some light.

As she finished, she smiled at her work. The floors were clean and dust free, the messy table was almost spotless, and the wardrobe, (which she was going to finish later,) was almost as clean as everything else. She sat down on the floor, letting out a yawn.

The last thing she would do up here was going to be open these boxes, which definingly piqued her interest. Pulling the first one over, she unlatched it with a clang and the contents were revealed. Small bottles of different colored liquids shimmered in the dim light. Y/n felt confused, lifting a blood red one up. A small label was scribbled on a dangling piece of paper, like a tag.

"Healing," she would read out loud. She decided to pop open the cork, smelling what was inside. It smelled like fruit almost, with a tang of metal. She closed it and rested it back in the large box, pushing is aside and bringing the next one over. What she didn't expect was for such a heavy box to just be... clothing?

It was a dark grey and had the outline of wings. She picked it up and lay it on the floor. Was she missing something? Did it go on  your head, or legs? She glanced back in the box, and realized she was missing something. Picking that up, it seemed like a harness, but not one for a dog. It was for a human? Or, that's what it appeared to be.

Deciding that was enough for today, she put the objects back into the box and go downstairs, and go see Karl.
