"All RIGHT LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT." Steve started. "You kept something you knew was probably dangerous in order to impress a girl who...who you just met?" He asked.
Dustin immediately shushed him due to the girl being right behind him. But luckily the two girls joining then had fallen behind and they were sharing their music tastes.
"That's grossly oversimplifying things." Dustin explained.
Meanwhile Max said something to Liz that made her rethink everything.
"Hey isn't Steve like, kinda hot." Max whispered to her.
Liz's stomach dropped. How could she have been so stupid? Max is straight, and there is no way she could ever love her the way Liz loves Max.
"Um...yeah totally hot." Liz faked a smile.
"Are you okay?" Max asked.
"Yeah! Yeah, just worried you know." Liz answered, not fully lying. "Hey can I tell you something?" She asked.
"Yeah totally!" Max looked at her with a big smile.
"I had a dream about you earlier today." Lizzie laughed at herself.
"Oh really? What was it about?" Max smiled.
"Oh I don't really remember..." Lizzie looked away, completely avoiding eye contact.
Max smiled to herself at the fact but nonetheless dropped the subject.
Finally the two had caught up with Dustin and Steve, but it went silent.
"Fabergé." Steve admitted.
"What?" All three kids said in unison.
"It's Fabergé Organics." Steve pointed to his hair. "Use the shampoo and conditioner and when your hair's damp...it's not wet, okay. When it's damp... You do four puffs of the Farrah Fawcett spray." Steve instructed.
"Farrah Fawcett spray?" Dustin laughed, Max joining in on the laughter.
"Yeah, Farrah Fawcett. You tell anyone I just told you that and your ass is grass. You're dead, Henderson." Steve spoke intimidatingly. "Do you understand?" Steve pointed at the three of them.
"Yup." Dustin looked down.
✿
"Oh yeah. Yeah, this will do." Steve nodded looking at the old junkyard.
Dustin looked very proud of himself, a big huge smile spreading across his face.
"Good call dude." Steve praised.
They poured the leftover meat everywhere, when suddenly they heard Lucas shouting.
"I said medium-well!" He joked.
✿
"You told her." Lucas shouted towards Lizzie.
"She had to know!" Lizzie defended the red head. "You guys wanted to tell her too!" She added in her defense.
