Ellie's POV
I watched as the assassin makes a sharp turn to the left and enter a tunnel. Anakin flew right past the tunnel and continued on going straight.
"Hey, wait! What are you doing?!" I yelled as I turned to look where the assassin went.
"He went in the tunnel, Anakin!" Qui-Gon added.
"Master, if we keep this case going any longer, that creep is gonna end up deep-fried, and personally, I'd very much like to find out who he is and who he's working for..." Anakin answered. "This is a shortcut, I think."
"You think or you know?" Obi-Wan sighed.
"I'm going to need for you to pick a struggle and tell us which is which." I scoffed with my arms crossed, still ignoring the issue that I've been having since sitting on Obi-Wan's lap.
"Don't worry, Butterfly." Anakin said with a smirk before turning to wink at me.
As if I haven't had one problem to worry about, here he comes making me feel flusters. His smirk only grew as he saw me looking flustered.
"I thought we agree to call me Ellie." I scolded.
"You will always be one to me, Butterfly." Anakin replied.
I felt strong arms tighten around my waist as Obi-Wan spoke, "Focus, you two."
"Umm... I think I'm feeling something.... poking on my butt, Master Kenobi." I smirked, now making him turn bright red and Anakin glaring at him.
"Blame that on Anakin's flying." Obi-Wan complained.
"Can we focus on the mission?" Qui-Gon finally stopped us, putting us back in the situation.
TIME SKIP
"Well, you've lost them." Obi-Wan sighed as he crossed his arms.
Anakin had pulled over the speeder when none of us could spot the assassin. We were all slightly irritated that we had lost the assassin.
"I'm deeply sorry, Masters." Anakin retorted as he looked down at the speeders and cruisers below.
"That was some shortcut, Anakin. He went completely the other way. Once again, you've proved-" Qui-Gon was about to go off when I stood up and jumped off of the speeder.
THIRD PERSON POV
"Oh, Ellie. Forever taking risks." Qui-Gon scoffed after the three men watches Ellie jumping out of the speeder.
"If you'll excuse me." Anakin said before he too jumped off.
"Oh, I hate it when he does that." Obi-Wan grumbled.
"Let's go after those two, Obi-Wan." Qui-Gon chuckled as he took the driver's seat while Obi-Wan leans back, frustrated on Ellie's rebelling act.
"Patience, my young Padawan." Qui-Gon gives him a reassuring smile.
Ellie's POV
I grabbed hold of the speeder by the wings as I heard a grunt as I realized it was Anakin as he grabs the other wing. The assassin turned the speeder on its side in an attempt to get us off of it. We held on tightly as the assassin brought the speeder upright again. I got a good look and realized the assassin is actually a woman. She took out a blaster and tried to shoot us down. We dodged the blasts as Anakin switched over to the wing of the speeder. The speeder was swaying crazily as I hung on tightly as Anakin managed to make his way to the top of the speeder. He ignited his lightsaber and stabbed the roof of the speeder. The assassin tries to shoot at Anakin again and he pulled away his lightsaber as he tried to dodge the attack. The wind from how fast the speeder was going cause him to lose his lightsaber.
