The Golden Butterfly

Chapter 17

Ellie's POV

The cart pulled towards the center where Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were already chained up, like in my vision. They locked eyes with eyes as they stared at us in surprise and disappointment that we also in the same situation as they are. 

The cart stopped in front of the posts and a Geonosian roughly grabbed my arm after Padme was pulled out. I sensed a strong build-up inside of me as I was being escorted towards a pole that was right in between Padme and Anakin.

"We were beginning to wonder if you'd got our message." Qui-Gon said to Anakin as the Geonosian guards finished chaining me, Anakin, and Padme up before leaving. 

"I retransmitted it as you requested, Master." Anakin replied, earnestly. "Then we decided to come and rescue you." 

Obi-Wan looked up at his chained hands before looking back at Anakin. 

"Good job." Obi-Wan stated. 

"I heard that sarcastic tone from you, Obi! Like you and Master Jinn did better!" I yelled out in a teasing manner, making him blush like an idiot. Qui-Gon chuckled.

The crowd silenced by the time the Archduke came with those shitheads. "Let the executions begin!" He announced, making the crowd go insane. 

A reek, an acklay, and two nexus came out and choose their victims. One of the nexus came towards me as I was struggling to free myself when I suddenly break the chains. 

"Whoa!" I didn't know I was that strong until now. Well, they underestimated me completely. 

"I've got a bad feeling about this..." Anakin said as he too focused on the monsters to realized what I just did. 

"Take the one on the right. Obi-Wan and I got the one on the left." Qui-Gon told Anakin. 

"Relax and concentrate." Obi-Wan added. 

"What about Padme and Ellie?" Anakin asked, worriedly. 

"The girls seems to be on top of things." Obi-Wan replied with an amused smile as he looks at Padme climbing up to the post as I ran over to Anakin as he looked completely surprised.

"How did you get out of your chains?" He asked. 

"I'm extremely strong. Hold still." I said before ripping the chains off of his wrists. 

Then, I did the same with Obi-Wan, and then, Qui-Gon before flying up to Padme and freed her chains. The nexus came roaring while climbing up the post. We grabbed the chains to swung at them, not before they fought their way up and clawed our backs, leaving three deep slashes across Padme's back, tearing her white suit. 

I screamed before punching the nexus that clawed my back and wounded my wing. Fuck! I heard laughter from the luxury box. Piece of shits! 

'Ellie!' I heard both Anakin and Obi-Wan shouted through the bond. 

'Calm down! I'm fine.' I assured them. 

The nexus snarled as they climbed back up again. Padme swiftly jumped off of the post and swung around the first nexu and kicked it as hard as she could in the chest. I flew down and kicked the second one as it crashed onto the first nexu, whimpering as they snarled at each other before they regained focus back at us. They circled around the post as I gasped and flew back up to the post as I helped Padme climb back up. 

"They can't do that!" Gunray fumed. "Shoot them or-or something!" 

I groaned in pain as I felt the blood coming out of my back and wings by the time Anakin arrived, riding on the reek he tamed, ramming both nexus, killing them.
