"Sky dear, your beloved aunt Liz is waiting for you in the guest room" Cheyenne called from outside of my room door. I looked up from my phone, quickly shoving it in a slit in my mattress, and groaned. How has nobody noticed how she is? That she is not my most beloved aunt Liz? She is a pain in the ass and I wish she would just leave me alone. I cursed inside my head as I stood up and walked out the room to meet her in the visitors area. I walked down the hall following Cheyanne, my favorite care taker in the rehab/mental hospital/correction facility. Not to mention that this place is barely on the map.

"Hi there, Sky! Okay so I have no problem with you being in here and I just wanted to tell you that I'm rich now and gaining even more money as we speak" she sped through her closed minded sentence. Since there was no way for me to verbally respond, I tilted my head and gave a look of hatred towards her. "Oh love, I won the lottery and then shortly after that I received a message from the government telling me that every three weeks that you are in this place I will get two thousand dollars. Therefore you are not to speak a word."

I was done with her. She was so closed minded. The way she spoke was unrealistic. But then again, the way she lived was unrealistic. I didn't want her negativity to ruin my day, so started to get up when her hand, which had a silky white glove slipped over it, roughly grabbed my shoulder and pulled me down to the cushioned sofa that we were having the short little hate fest on. "Now listen to me you little brat! If you say one word or try to escape I will make sure that you don't have the chance to speak before I have your head frozen on a golden platter" she growled into my ear. I jumped a bit at her words but then calmed down because they were just her foolish way of scaring me. She then stood up and brushed of her perfectly ironed, most likely steamed, red dress. Walking over to the doorway, she paused under the frame, turning and blowing a toxic kiss to me. The fakeness made me want to gag.

I stood up from the comfortable seat and walked out of the visiting room. Passing a few doors, I opened the one to my private room. I mean, it was my private room, but usually I had little privacy. For almost a full 40 seconds the door was closed before it swung open in a quick motion, proving my point about the lack of privacy. "What was that about" Chelsea, my best friend, walked into the room with her long, wavy, brunet hair swaying behind her. I shook my head and stood up rubbing my shoulder which was already red from the pressure from the compact of my aunt's hand. At first, I was a bit hesitant to answer, but eventually I did. "She told me that I wasn't to speak because she was making money off of me being here. So basically, our little plan to ditch this place most likely is not going to happen."

Chelsea frowned and stood up. "Nope, we are leaving and that is final" she protested. I looked into her eyes that appeared to be a rare gold. I don't like to argue with her because if I start it she will end it in three hours and walk, or ask anyone else would view it, seizer out of the room like the "boss" that she claims she is.

"What happens if we disobey my aunt though? I mean, I know she is harmless, but if you think about it, she could raise hell if she needed to" I part truthfully, not mentioning the fact that she would also raise hell if she wanted, answered before I heard Chelsea's immediate response. "I don't care what your silly aunt can do" she slightly giggled. "We will figure this out later; for now, its movie night at my place!" She stood up, gave me a quick hug before yanking me out of the room towards hers.

Chelsea and I basically ended up walking into the movie theater, which is one of the living rooms, after we couldn't get her small TV to work. In the movie theater, there was a huge TV that covered most of the wall in the room. Then the care takers would bring us snacks. Depending on your mental and physical health, that is what determined if you were getting tricked into eating a weight gain bar, a cracker, a bowl of popcorn, or any other snack the would be given as a treat from the nurses. That's also the reason that there were about five more people in the room. Free food is attractive.

Two of the people that were in the theater watching the classic movie Finding Nemo, was the couple that was most known and loved in the facility. Paris, who just happened to be one of my cousins and frankly my favorite, and Michael, who walked into this place for the same reason that Paris did. They both had the addiction of self-harm. I hated thinking that people in the same world that I lived in, were struggling with something that was so devastating to them and the ones around them. But aside from that, I loved how Paris and Michael were inseparable. They would always have little sleepovers together. Usually when you have a sleep over with a partner you don't really sleep because you are a busy doing the nasty, but not them. They would watch cartoons with each other while play wrestling, cuddling, or even talking about their problems and goals. Their little sleep over would end when the cartoon ended, she would fall asleep on his shoulder and he would wrap his arms protectively around her before he went to sleep.

"God they are so perfect" Chelsea whisper shouted to me. I mean, even though it was directed towards me, she didn't even look at me. It was almost if her eyes were glued, no, sowed to the couple. "I'm forever alone" she groaned. I let out a small giggle at her three word follow up. "Hey, no laughing at me" she snapped in a playful way. This was her failing attempt to stop me. I just kept holding my laughs in until I just let it out as quietly as I could. "Sorry, Chelsea" I giggled some more. "Yeah, sure you are" she pretend pouted. I just put a bunch of popcorn in my mouth in a silent reply to her. She giggled and continued to watch the yellow fish yell "bubbles" when the treasure chest opened.

Eventually, the happy movie was over and I had had an emotional break down when Nemo was found by his dad. The thought of my dad had entered my head. After that, I had memories of when I was little and I got lost in Walmart. I was just having a blast in the toy isle when I turned around and my family had left me. At first I went through the stages of being calm, confused, telling myself not to panic, panicking, having a panic attack, feeling a tear roll down my face, and getting advice from a fish in the pet area. The fish tanks were my absolute favorite part of the store so my dad came and found me easily. His voice telling me that I should not have wondered of made me angry because it was him that wondered off. I loved my dad though, so I just took the scolding and waited for him to say he loved me. When he did, my tear stained face cleared up and I said that I loved him too.

"Hey Sky, how are you doing" Paris quietly asked me while she dragged Michael by his good arm. I shook my head and just gave her a little smile that quickly faded. I wish they could see that I was still upset about my parent's death. After all, it was my fault. "Oh, well we hope you feel better" Paris chimed. "Hey, wait! why don't you sit with us at dinner?"

Michael was always the quiet person, but he always wanted to make people feel better. He gave me a smile and then said "Yeah, we haven't spoken in a while. You should also bring Chelsea." He was quiet but his words were always chosen in the most perfect way. I simply nodded and turned away to go back to my room. When I was half way down the hall I thought I saw the most beautiful blond curls turn the corner of the hall. I immediately started to panic.

That isn't who I think it is. It can't be.

I franticly argued with myself. I let my curiosity and fear have the best of me and turned the corner which was opposite of my room. I looked down the slim hallway and saw the door that was known to the patients to stay away from. Nobody ever went in the room because it freaked them out, though at the moment, a mysterious door was not going to stop me and I didn't think anything about it. Then I realized something odd about it. There was a small and barely noticeable gumball machine bouncing ball on the floor. It was holding the door open. I knew right then and there that I needed to get the hell out of there.

I turned the other direction and started to quickly walk in the other direction. The door was then slammed shut and a gust of air pushed against my back. I just wanted to find Chelsea and tell her what happened. So I ran quickly down the hall. Turning corners with tears streaming down my face as I approached my bedroom. Standing in front of it, I opened my room door to find Chelsea going through her phone on my bed. She shoved it under a blanket and pulled a book up into her face to act as if she had been reading, not texting someone to help her out of this place. When she looked up and saw that it was me, she sighed and put the book down. I then spoke up. "Chelsea, we need to talk."
