I squeezed Chads hand for the one millionth time in several months. Almost a year in fact. He went into a coma when we made it to the hospital. I did too, but I was lucky to wake up after two months. Eight months I have spent in his hospital room, cursing about how he went from one facility to another. He didn't deserve this. He saved my life in the fire by holding me close to him. I could still be in a coma, but I'm not because he saved me.

I wrote a book on our experience at Chamberlin while I waited for Chad to wake up. I wasn't expecting to finish it before he woke up. But when I did, I got it published so that people would know the things that actually went down before that fire. I wanted to expose the treatment of patients and I wanted to expose my aunt. People didn't believe me at first, until they went back to the mental facility and found evidence of the happenings. They found the letters sent to the owner of the Chamberlin Correction Facility telling them that if they didn't obey my aunt, that people would die. That explained Cheyenne. She was the last surviving nurse. The rest were killed by patients and the creatures that lurked around the building.

Chelsea's body was never found and neither was Cheyennes. Half of the building caught fire and they were burnt in it. It destroyed a lot of evidence, but there was a lot of evidence left over. Like the fact that there were no paramedics. They were fake. Paris was dumped somewhere and Michael was never taken to a hospital. They killed him after threatening Paris. He too, was duped somewhere. Their parents signed a paper, giving the facility permission to deal with the bodies, before we had the meeting about the funeral. It was all staged.

I was taken to a hospital, not under the name Skylar Russo, but Bethany Black. It was also unknown that I was a patient at Chamberlin. The facility was completely under the radar for the entire time after I got there. My aunt on the other hand is on the run. If they find her she gets the death penalty. No doubt about it.

I, myself, was financially prepared for life after I published the book. The only thing that was left for me to worry about was Chad. My love. They said that he won't wake up. I say that he will if he wants to. I don't know if he wants to, but if he does, I know that he is fighting at the moment. I am ready to start my life over, the right way.
