You awake in an odd room, a bedroom you do not recognise as your own. You get up from the comfortable bed, the pink and red sheets wrinkled from where you laid. You took a moment to realise the bed was shaped like a heart, glowing LED lights beneath it and a mirror on the ceiling above it. The lights are dimmed romantically, a soft tint of red and pink filling the room. You noticed how nicely the room was set up, like a romantic hotel of some sort.

"Good morning, player."

You jump at the sound of a disembodied voice. It was a deep fruity voice, but when you turned, the only one there did not look anything like the owner. It was hard to tell whether they were a man or a woman, despite their chest. It seemed as if they had the torso of a woman, but the hips down of a man. It was a hedgehog, fur of sapphire cyan and eyes of silver. They had long black nails, claws if you will, clearly sharpened not too long ago. They wore a black hoodie, the hood up letting only their bang quills covering one eye be visible. From what you could see, they had a witch like symbol on their forehead and back of their hands, only raising your anxiety.

"Welcome to the love game." They spoke. That deep fruity voice in fact, being there. Their voice echoed wisp like, as if a ghost of some kind. "I'm sure you're confused so allow me to explain. You my darling, have decided to click on this book. Yes, I'm talking to you, reader. I know what you are here for, and I am here to provide. There are multiple boys before you, waiting to be chosen by you my dear." They spoke, a smirk spreading across their muzzle. They held up multiple cards, a symbol of a character on each. "So my dear. Who will you choose? Be aware however, your choices do matter. There's a good ending and a bad ending to each. You can in fact make mistakes. like reality you can't be perfect." They explained, setting the cards out onto a table. "But no one likes a cheater." They chuckled, their silver eyes piercing into your soul.

"I'm Korekiyo, and I will be your host tonight. Simply pick up the card of who you wish for, and you'll be on your merry way. If you wish to return, go to the return chapter. Not here. Unless you wish to read a lot of text again. Now my darling, who will it be?" They grinned widely, seating themselves behind the table. Their elbows on top of it as they rested their head on their intertwined fingers. Eagerly awaiting your choice.
