Always at War (Completed)

Chapter 16.

*One week later* 

 Jungkook's POV 

"So if we are all in sync I think it will work out." Namjoon said as we finally had a plan to go to the Military Base without being noticed and try to get Hoseok and Amelia out of there. 

The thing is that it's pretty crazy, we are not sure if it's going to work, but we have to try. 

"Guys this is crazy-" Jimin was about to say, until we heard a bomb very close to the motel we where staying at for the past week, making it shake. 

I immediately grabbed the edges of my chair feeling the shake and I look at everyone's faces and we all knew what this meant. 

We have to get out of here. 

"GO GO GO!" Namjoon ordered once we all recovered from the shock and grabbed everything we could before sprinting downstairs. 

We where all running, even Jin was free and ran with us. I'm impressed he hasn't tried running away from us, but I guess he has warm up to us. 

Everything was caos outside, everyone was running too, trying to find somewhere to hide. The thing about war is that you can never hide from it. 

"EVERYONE KEEP UP! C'MON!" I guess Namjoon knows where we are going, seeing as we were able to overpass every bomb that they where throwing in this town, tearing up buildings and stores and everything around us. 

I saw a girl crying looking for her mom but before I could go to help her, a bomb was thrown directly at her, making me close my eyes feeling the tears beginning to form in my eyes. She was so fucking young, this is fucked up. 

"JUNGKOOK RUN!" I heard Jin yelling at me which surprised me, seeing as he was actually helping me. He took my hand and dragged me with him actually saving me from a bomb that ended up being way too close to my body. 

We followed Namjoon and the rest of the guys that actually were running so fast, trying to keep up, seeing as I was left behind by a few seconds because of the girl. 

I wish I could've save her, but I guess I can't even do that right. 

Shaking my head I tried to stay focus, passing through every obstacle that was in our way and we made it to what looked like a cave. Since when where we in the forest? I didn't even noticed we where heading to the forest but I guess it worked, because in here there was no one around and the cave looked safe enough. 

"How did you know this was here?" Taehyung asked out of breathe as we all sat down on the floor, getting come water that we were able to bring with us, knowing we were going to need it. 

"I didn't, I just knew the forest was near and probably untouched. Lucky enough we found this cage, but I didn't know it was here." 

As we finally were able to gather our thoughts, I remembered the girl again, her face was printed in my mind and I couldn't help but feel guilty. I should've saved her. 

"Jungkook?" I heard someone ask and I look up to see everyone looking at me. What happened? 

"Mmm? Sorry? What happened?" I ask and then I noticed that they were looking at me with concern in their eyes. That's when I felt a tear falling on my hand as I looked down to it. 

I was crying and I didn't even noticed. 

"What happened? Are you okay?" Jimin ask as he came towards me and sat down beside me. We were all in a circle now, making me feel so nostalgic because we were not complete. 

I tried to speak but felt my voice get caught in my throat as I look at Jin. He saw what happened. 

Jin looked back at me and he knew I wanted him to say it. It hurt me way too much to say it out loud.
