*Thursday, Valentine's Day*

Uraraka

The only treats I brought to class that morning was the box for Mr. Aizawa. I didn't feel like hauling all my treats across campus when I would see everyone after class back at the dorms anyway, so what would be the point? The other girls had the same idea too, only bringing their gifts for our teacher.

Once I walked in the classroom that morning, I placed my gift box on his desk along with the other few items brought by my classmates. The pile was small-

--Compared to theirs!!

Holy cow!!

The piles of Valentine's Day gifts on a few individual's desks were towering! Tokoyami, Momo, and Kyoka's stood out in size! Kaminari even had a few, and so did Deku! And-

Woah...

The biggest pile of gifts was on Bakugo's desk. He wasn't in the classroom yet, so seeing his reaching was going to be interesting.

My classmates were eagerly eyeing the treasures and opening a few cards to see who the gifts were from.

Tokoyami and Ojiro read a card, the black feathered boy saying, "Looks like we have fans from the cultural festival."

"Yeah!" Kaminari cheered, "It's like we're famous!"

I walked over to Kyoka, who was shocked to read a few of her cards. I asked, "Are they special?"

She blinked at me, baffled. "They liked my song."

I smiled and patted her shoulder. "You were the star of the show! I bet you have a lot of fans now!"

Her cheeks heated red before she looked back down at the card. "Yeah..."

Deku was close by, already on his last card. He didn't have many, but they seemed to be the first he had ever gotten. I poked him on the shoulder, "From anybody you know?"

His eyes were sparkling like a kid on Christmas. "I got a poem from Eri! It's about birds!"

We laughed. "That's cute!"

"Yeah!" He smiled, showing me the other few. "These are from people I haven't met. They're about the sports festival."

I read a small one, 'You're cute so stop hurting yourself with that quirk. - a senior.' I laughed, "I like this one! Make sure to keep-"

"Move it."

"Hoah!" I jumped at the sudden raspy timbre in my ear. I spun around and stepped away. "Bakugo, a simple 'excuse me' would have been fine!"

"You're excused." He stepped around his desk.

I smacked him on the arm as he sat down.

Grumpy jerk.

I turned back to Deku and offered his card back. His eyes were curiously fixed on the blonde boy sitting in front of him. I asked, "What?"

He quickly smiled and took the card back. "Nothing. Did you get any?"

"Um," I looked over at my desk, unable to see around Koda. "I don't know."

"Find your seats." Mr. Aizawa announced as he entered the classroom.

I hurried to my desk and sat down, quickly observing the bare desktop. No Valentines.

My drop of sadness fell in my stomach, but I ignored it. It was always a hope to get something special on Valentine's Day, but I never let the feeling consume me. That's why I give gifts! Getting nothing sucks, so I decided to be the one to give gifts! I'll be a Valentine's Day hero so nobody feels alone!
