Requested, sorry this took like almost two weeks :,)

Changed the story plot just a little bit

...

I truely do love my friends.

Ron and Hermione were the best of friends. They were always there. Protecting me from everything from bad dreams to bullies.

More so, one bully in particular.

Draco Malfoy, of course.

Whenever he brought his pretty arse around, Ron and Hermione were always there.

Even if, sometimes, I didn't want them to.

Like today, for example.

"Oi, Pottah!"

I turned to face Malfoy. We had just left charms and he spent the whole period throwing paper birds at me while his stupid friends laughed. Naturally, Hermione tried her best to tell Flitwick what was happening while Ron defended me. But Malfoy was so charming, nobody believed us. That's why I was all on my own right now. They both insisted on trying to 'get Malfoy what he deserved.' It wasn't even that big of a deal.

Sorry, did I call Malfoy charming? Please ignore that.

"What is it not, Malfoy? Do you want to borrow more parchment to throw at me?"

He scoffed at me, but it looked a little... embarrassed?

"Did you even read any of those notes?"

I raised an eyebrow. "I was too busy dodging, sorry."

"You are truly insufferable Pottah!" Draco reached into his pocket and pulled out yet another piece of paper. He didn't throw it at me this time, but shoved it into my pocket. "Just.. read it later, okay?"

"I-"

"Hey! Get away from him Malfoy!"

Ron and Hermione emerged from the classroom. Malfoy rolled his eyes. "And here come your stupid 'bodyguards'. Honestly I can't go ten steps without them on my back" he huffed, then hurried off just as my friends approached.

"What happened, Harry? Was he bothering you again? Do you want us to go back to Flitwick? You know I will-" Ron started.

"It's nothing!" I interrupted. "And you know if Malfoy was bothering me, I could handle it myself!"

Hermione sighed and wrapped an arm around me. "We're your friends, Harry. It's our job to protect you."

Ron nodded next to me. "It's also our job to keep ourselves fed! Can we please go to dinner?"

...

After dinner, Hermione dragged Ron to the library, which left me all by myself in the dorms. All through dinner I felt the note practically burning a hole in my pocket. I wanted to just see what it said, but I knew that the second I pulled it out Hermione and Ron would be all over me, trying to see what it was. I loved them both, I really did. But sometimes? Well sometimes I just wished they'd leave me alone.

So tonight was perfect.

The second Ron shut the door behind him, I looked at the note.
