AOI'S POV
"May the games begin." Monokuma said with a wide grin.
The steel gates finally opened with a rusty crack and we all stood still. None of us really wanted to move out of the elevator, it was unerving to see a room so similar to the one we all once saw probably ages ago. Plenty of hardships were over-came in these very walls, so many tears wasted and so much blood splattered.
"What are you all waiting for? Your all wasting your own time." Monokid says.
"Yeah hurry up, I'm getting bored of just waiting." Monosuke said.
Still none of us had moved an inch. I had finally gotten up from the floor to look around the room.
Subconsciously, I stepped out of the elevator to get a better look around. It looked quite similar to my old one, though I could barely remember it I do remember the small details such as the circular center which had podiums for each of us, one had the face of Fuyu's already. Monokuma was really prepared for that one.
The 16 podiums were elevated with another red carpted circular section. There were multiple windows which were gated with steel rods. At least the light from the outside was still quite visible. For some reason there were multiple rows of colourful carpet with patterns on it leading to some curtains, there was 16 which I'm guessing that the carpet that is linked to our podium is going to lead to the curtain we will have to open up maybe later on? I'm not quite sure.
Anyways, there floor was checkered a plain black a white. It reminded me more of a kitchen then a court-room. There were pillars and inbetween each of those pillars was a lamp that was on for some reason even though it was day time. The walls were just a blueish-green and the pattern on it was the 4 cards, the clubs, the spades, the hearts and the diamonds. They were all plastered onto the wall in an alright pattern in all honesty.
