I wrap the cake with buttercream and set some chocolate flowers on top. I write 'Happy birthday Lora' on top and let Joey take the pictures for Instagram and our sight.
"Ok let's put it in the box it's almost time," I say and wrap it up. I put the cake in the fridge and 5 minutes later, just in time, my favourite client rings the doorbell.
I waddle to the door and open it. "Sasha! So good to see you!" I say hugging the tall woman.
"Rose! Wow! You're so big it looks like your going to pop that baby out at any given time." She says caressing my large belly.
"Yeah, he should be here in like 2 weeks," I say with my hands on my back. "Come on let's get your cake," I say and waddle back to the kitchen.
"Wow, this looks amazing! Thank you so much Lora is going to love it." She gives me one last hug and leaves.
I pay my workers and go out to the pool. I see my baby girls and my wife playing around in the water. I smile at them and Maria smiles back when she sees me.
Suddenly a pain in my lower abdomen hits me and my water break. "Shit! Rose, I'm coming!" Maria tells running to me.
"It hurts! It hurts!" I yell holding onto her for support.
My mom comes from the living room to my daughters and Maria takes me to the hospital.
She speeds through the streets and makes the 20 minutes drive a 10-minute one.
She takes me out of the car with the hospital bag on her back. We put it in the car since I was 30 weeks along.
She bursts into the hospital with me in her hands. "Her water broke!" She yells. They bring a bed and she lays me in it and they roll me to the room I'll give birth in.
"Ok let me check..." The doctor starts. "Oh wow, your 10 cm let's start pushing ok." She says directing me on what to do.
I have Maria's hand in my grip as I start to push our baby boy out. Maria whispers loving words into my ear helping me through it.
I bring her hand to my mouth and bite it. I can feel her tense but she does nothing. Understanding that my pain is greater than hers.
And within 2 hours, our baby is out. I'm exhausted but I need to see that he's ok.
They bring him to me, after cleaning him, and I give him my nipple to latch onto.
They cover us with a blanket and roll us to a different room. "He looks just like you baby..." I say petting his little head full of hair.
She hums and takes him away once he falls asleep.
The next morning I woke up to someone whispering. "Shhh don't wake up mommy." A voice says. A voice that I identify as Kai.
"Girls be quiet..." Maria says.
"Sorry, mama..." Those two troublemakers say at the same time.
I open my eyes and look at my girls. Maze seems to notice that I'm looking at the and smile. She waves her hands and the two other idiots turn to me looking like deers in a headlight.
"Hey baby, how do you feel?" Maria asks.
"I feel good, sore but good. Bring me, my boy." I say.
Maria brings him to me and lay him on my chest after turning the bed into a chair.
I pet his head of hair and take the time to study him.
He has a lot of black hair on his head, his skin is smooth, he has a very cute button nose, and his lips are in a pout. The rest of his body is covered in blue material. But he's very long.
A knock on the door is heard and a nurse comes in. "Hello, I hope you feeling better. What is this little cuties name?" He asks.
"Alexander Ace Moretti." I say looking at my boy. The nurse nods and walks away after writing it down.
"After my papa?" Maria asks.
"Mhm," I say and kiss his little head.
"Can we see him?" Kai asks.
"Of course baba," I say. Maria helps the girls up on each side of me. They lay with me and look at their little brother.
"Hello Alex, I'm big sister Maze," Mazie says.
"I'm big sister Kai." She says. Alex opens his eyes and looks at the two girls.
Kai and Maze got Maria's blue eyes, so I want this little chunky boy to have my eyes.
The next day we get dismissed and go home with our little boy.
"Mommy! Nono's and Nono's cars are here!" Kai yells.
"Ok baby, go greet them," I say as I unbuckle the crying Alex and take him in my hands trying to get him to relax.
We walk into the house and see Ace, Papa and Mama.
"CIAO!!!!" Maze yells running into Papa's hands.
"Hey beautiful, where is your brother?" We hear him say.
"He was crying so mommy is taking care of him." She said and snuggled in his arms.
We walk into the house and Alex is still crying. He's probably hungry. "Mama, can you get me a cover?" I ask her and she nods and runs to do that.
She comes back quickly with the cover and helps me with it so I can breastfeed quitely.
I take out my tit and let Alex latch onto it. He slowly stops crying. And his eyes slowly close as he falls asleep eating.
I squeeze his little leg waking him up so he can finish eating and not wake up every 5 minutes hungry. And I do that every time he falls asleep till he takes the nipple out of his mouth. I burp him and go to lay him in his bed.
