It's been three months since Maria proposed, and we've been looking for a house to move into together.
We've been talking about weddings too. We chose to do it in a garden and the colour scheme will be white and gold.
It's going to be in August, we still don't have a day. But we aren't inviting many. My family and friends, and Maria's family and friends.
But we did go ring shopping yesterday. Which was fun. Today we're going to the ultrasound to find the gender of our babies, yep you heard that right, babies.
Twins.
"Ok baby let's go or we'll be late!" Maria yells to me. I close the laptop and put it to the side. I will my sandals on and walk to her.
"Let's make bets. I think it's going to be 2 girls." Maria says.
"I say 2 boys," I say. "If I'm right you buy me a new iPhone," I say.
"Ok, if I win, which I will, we're taking the house I wanted." She says. I hum and we shake hands making it a done deal.
The house she wants is gorgeous. But it's so big. I wanted something smaller.
She parks the car and we walk in. "Hello, who are you here for?" The receptionist asks.
"Dr Olive," Maria says. The girl nods and gets us in. We walk to Olive's office and sit in the chairs.
"Hey ladies! How are you two today?" She asks sitting in her chair.
"We've been good," I say she nods and motions me to lie on the bed.
"How were the babies?" She asks.
"Good, moving a lot," I say. She nods and lifts my sun dress. Thank God I had shorts under.
She puts on the cold gel and starts the ultrasound. "They look great, but I would like to do some blood work to make sure I'm seeing this right." She says. I nod and let her do the blood work.
Within a few minutes, she comes back with a smile. She gives me a paper towel to clean my stomach which I do. "So?" I ask sitting up and letting my dress down.
"You're having two baby girls like Maria." She says motioning to my fiance. I groan knowing she was right.
"Fine... You can have the house..." I say looking away feeling defeated. Maria smiles so big I'm worried her face might split up. I get up thanking Olive and walk out of the room with Maria.
"I'll buy you that phone cuz you were half right." She says. I nod and walk with her to the closest Apple store. We get the newest iPhone for me and walk out.
I transfer the SIM card from that phone to this phone and smile at the new device in my hands.
"I get the house?" Maria asks out of nowhere.
"You get the house," I say moving her hand to my thigh.

"What about that one?" Mama asks pointing to a dress on the rack.
"It's beautiful but I don't want a white dress, I want something different," I say looking at my phone that just dinged singling I got a text.

PapaJoe: Honey please tell your mama that you're pregnant and want to come back home... You've been there for hours...
Me: lol K papa.

"Hey mama, I'm tired and I want to go back Maria is also packing alone and I don't want her to do that alone so let's go back we've been here for hours," I tell her with no room for argument.
"Ok baby, you think about the dress you want and help Maria pack." She says. We walk out of the store and to my car.
I have unfortunately quit my job but I do plan on opening a bakery and making personalized stuff.
I drop mama off at the house and drive to Maria's. I jam to some good songs on the radio, it's now pride month special shit so yeah good music.
I park the car, get out of it and walk into the house. "Baba!" I yell out to Maria.
"Yes, baby?" She yells back. I walk to her room where she yelled from. I walk in to see Leo on the bed while Maria packs stuff.
"Hi!" I say jumping on the bed next to Leo.
"Hey." He says. He gives me a controller and we start to play together. I kill some he kills more while Maria tells me what to do.
"Right kick! Right, kick!" She yells. I do as she says and do a right kick killing my opponent who happened to be Leo.
"Ugh!" He groans while I giggle. "It took you and your mom a while..." He says taking a cracker in his mouth.
"Yeah, she wanted me to get a white dress... I want a flowery dress." I say getting up and hugging Maria.
"Hmm, I finished packing up the closet." She says as I walk into the closet and see a few outfits ready for the next 2 weeks.
"Good job," I say letting her pick me up laying with me on the bed.
"Do you like, wanna go away?" She asks Leo.
"Yeah, you guys are annoying, so much and shit." He says getting up and walking out of the room closing the door.
Over time I and Leo became friends. Which is good, Maria also likes my friends so I'm happy.
I sit up and straddle Maria, I take hold of her face and look at her mesmerized. "You're beautiful," I whisper looking at her in the eyes.
"So are you." She says wrapping her strong arms around my waist. "When are you starting your business?" She asks burying her face in my neck leaving kisses and probably hickeys too.
"I want to make the online business today and start opening it when we get settled in the new house," I say brushing my hands through her hair.
"Sounds good to me."

Yay... 8 days till I go back to my parents. I don't hate it cuz I do miss them but I'm not excited to see my extended family, they're homophobic and annoying.
Enough about me.
