"It's always going to be us against the world Jade, I'm not going anywhere" Reina says as we lay under the stars on her twentieth birthday.

"Reina, Your a mafia leader someone will come after you and what if you die?" I ask, worried that someday my bestfriend will be taken from me.

"That's impossible and incredibly stupid to who ever tries, they can't kill me" she says in a cocky tone.

I look at her deeply, enjoying the way her lips are forming in a smirk and her eyes shine as she looks up at the beautiful night sky.

The moon is her favorite part.

"Your staring" she says.

"S-Sorry" I chuckle nervously.

"It's okay" she says as she grabs my hand.

" Reina, what if you do end up dying someday?" I ask since she has me concerned.

"It won't happen, but if it does I want you to become the badass leader and take over for me, your my second command after all" she says with a smile.

She's so beautiful.

Her blonde hair, lays over her shoulders as it almost touches her waist.

Her pretty gray eyes, that hold so much emotion.

One being love for her family and friends.

The other for her mafia.

I snap out of my little flashback as I'm now looking at my self in the mirror of my bathroom.

"I wish you were here Reina" I say to myself.

Reina, if your watching me just know I miss you so fucking much.

Reina was my and still is my best-friend, no matter in life or death.

She may have only seen me as a best friend but, Reina is my first love, I loved her so much.

Even if she couldn't love me the same way.

I look back at my reflection , taking in on how much I changed in the past five years.

My light brown hair is now a dark chestnut.

My eyes that was once full of life, now full of hatred and revenge. Expect of course when my beautiful and loving wife is around, Reina may have been my first love but Alina she's my forever , my whole world.

"Good morning , my love" her angelic voice says from behind me as she wraps her arms around my waist and kisses my shoulder.

"Good morning , Il mio mondo" I say with a smile on my face. (Good morning, my world)

"How's the scar?" She asks as she lightly runs her thumb over it.

"It's getting better mi amore" I say as I lean down and kiss her lips softly , causing her to smile.

Two weeks ago during a mission , some gang member slashed a dagger down my face causing a new scar going down it.

An: idk how to explain it buts the scar isn't like from the eyebrow down it's goes like this / down her face. Yk?

"That's good, but it does make you look hot and badass" Alina says making me smirk at her.

"Does it now?" I ask teasingly.

She nods and Hums.

I lean down and kiss her again.

"So what's the agenda for today Boss" she says.

"We have some guests coming today, donna" I say back.

"Who?" She asks.

"Todays the Reunion babe" I say reminding her making her smile drop.

"T-Today?" She stutters.

"Yea, which means-"

"Which means Alekski will be here" she says finishing my sentence.

It's not that she isn't excited to see her brother , she's nervous.

Him and Levi were working for me, but after three years passed they decided to leave as it was taking a big pull on both their mental healths.

They still text everyday just haven't seen each other in two years.

As for me , I haven't seen Jacob and Fallon since the funeral.

We have been in touch a couple times , more recently For an important reason.

Yes this reunion is a way for us to catch up, but we have something else to talk about too.

"Is your guys parents coming?" Alina asks as she puts her clothes on.

A pair of black leggings, topped off with a long dark green sleeved crop top.

And some paired with some high topped black Converse.

"You look beautiful my love" I say as I smile at her.

She smiles back "it's a basic outfit Jade"

"Yes but you still look beautiful and to answer your question , no" I sigh.

Our parents are still all not recovered from Reina's death, her parents especially of course.

"I hope Jules and Gio are okay" she says as she stands in between my legs and I sit at the end of our bed.

"Me too" i hum as I hug her waist and rest my head on in her stomach as he runs her hand through my hair.

"Three days, three days till it hits five years" I mutter.

"I know, it sucks trust me I miss nik like crazy" she says with a little voice crack at the end.

"I can't believe it still" I sigh as I let a single year drop but quickly wipe it away.

" don't, don't hide away your pain" she says as she lowers to my level.

I shake my head trying to hold in the years of tears.

"Don't push it away, it hurts we both lost them and we can get through it together we will all be back together with the group and we will be okay" she says as her eyes water.

"Don't cry Alina, I won't be able to stop if you do" my voice cracks.

"I won't" she says and kisses me.

"We're in this together Jade, I married you because I want to be with you and stick with you" she says as she puts her hands on my face as I lean into her touch.

"Always" she says.

"Always" I whisper back.

"I love you" she says to me with a small smile.

"I love you too" I say back.

Knock knock.

Me and Alina quickly push away the sadness and cover it up with a blank face.

"Come in" I say as I force the voice crack down.

"Sorry to disturb you Boss and Donna, But your friends are here" one of my men say.

"Perfect , thank you Blake let them in and tell them we will be down in a minute" I say with with a small smile and my head held high.

"Yes ma'am" he says and shuts my door.

I stand up and look at her Alina "ready love?"

"As long as your by my side, always" she says and hooks her arm with mine and we walk downstairs with our heads held high and our walk in sync.

Once we reach the bottom we see familiar faces that also have changed over the years.

"Welcome to the Vipers estate" I say to them.
